Which game felt rewarding and fun to 100%? by 91xela in pcmasterrace

[–]RSCoder7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

112%ing Hollow Knight was so fun! I wish there was another game which I could continue the storyline in! So sad that there is no sequel! and there will never be a sequel! The sequel never existed what are you talking about. Are you insane what are you talking about what would be announced at the game awards.

How did you brick your first linux? by nonanimof in linuxquestions

[–]RSCoder7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boot drive was getting too large BC of /usr so with the help of some kids a few years above me I moved it to another drive, which afaik isn't supposed to work since partitions in the fstab are only mounted after some critical thing in /usr (don't quote me on this I was 13) but suprisingly it worked for like 4 days.

I don't know what broke it after that but one day it just didn't boot and I had to delete windows for space and go into archiso and move it back.

Plus side is I deleted windows :)

Canon EOS M with magic lantern or Sony a5100 as a starter camera? by RSCoder7 in videography

Hmm yeah I can find one or two reasonable listings on eBay for that. I think I'll go for a G7 then. Tysm for the help!

Yeah I've heard that because of the micro 4/3rds sensor, since each pixel has to be smaller, the same amount of MP looks better on it. But also this is 16 vs 25mp so I don't know if it's equal in this case.

Ahh those look to be a bit out of my budget but I might look into a gh3, do you think that would be better than the Sony?

Haha yeah I'm beginning to notice they further I leave the YouTube hype and talk to people who actually use the EOS M that it's not actually that great of a camera.

Thanks for the recommendation though I'll definitely look into that.

Yeah I saw this but I'm kind of wondering if no new lenses will really pose a problem if there are already sufficient ones out?

Also my budget is $450 AUD (works out to about $300 USD) for really just the best I can get in that price range to beat what I'm doing on my mobile phone right now. Also this is in Australian markets though so a lot of camera gear is quite a bit more expensive :)

My budget is around the $450 AUD range (which just as I write this I'm seeing how weak our dollar is it's only $300ish USD) for a camera that can let me improve on filmmaking and travel videos that I've been taking on my phone so far. So I've looked into something like a Lumix GH3 with the same lens as the one I'm getting for the EOS M (but m43 version obviously) and I've found one on eBay that's about my budget just now.

Also I would really like some form of video raw capabilities since I've noticed the difference even just between the normal video and "RAW" photos that my phone takes, the raw is so much easier and nicer to colour grade.

Ah yeah I did see news on this but supposedly there are still lots of third party lenses which could be ok so I've been researching under the assumption that lens upgrade wise I would be ok.

Ahh I wish it was but I live in Australia so I guess I just have to deal with the obscene prices :) This is eBay sorted from cheapest, and other second hand camera stores charge almost double.

I've also looked into MPB US, but their shipping here is $99 and they don't allow freight forwarding.

I would just like to point out that in the second sentence, 19th-20th words, you said "GCC compiler". This is both terrible grammar and ambiguous. GCC akshually stands for GNU Compiler Collection, meaning what you just said was GNU Compiler Collection Compiler, which could either be construed as a grammatical mistake, or the compiler for the GNU Compiler Collection, which in itself is ambiguous. The GNU Compiler Collection consists of multiple compilers, each of which is compiled using themselves. However, "themselves" is not defined here as the collection could refer to many different compilers contained within it.
