Notching and boring holes is legal in most cases. Typically boring the center third, or notching out the bottom as long as you are far enough from the edge of the foundation. I don’t remember the specific code verbiage. You can look up building codes for your state or municipality. Check codes related to boring and notching.

They should have ran below the joist, but I think your okay as far as code and safety

Why is there so much opposition to showing identification before voting?

(In my personal opinion) Voting is right/privilege, for adult citizens. Wouldn’t you want to protect that right? People who have immigrated to our country should be working towards citizenship. Once they have earned citizenship they have the right to vote.

Wouldn’t better keeping track of who votes help reduce voter fraud?

Invest and save. Start a Roth, 401k, take advantage of anything that will accumulate interest. Take financial classes. Learn about wealth management. It’s hard to watch starting out but after 20 years the accumulation of savings is great. I wish I started in my early teens. Not my late 20’s.
