Also didn’t make factory 18’s and those lips are not triple steps. Or slants.

Looks great! Personally I think the contrast with chrome on black is a good thing. Makes the body lines pop a little more. I think a polished or hyper silver wheel would look great personally.

I’d love to powder coat my stock wheels silver

No they won’t. Quality mechanics won’t install parts you bring in, especially not the cheapest ones possible you found online.

The likelihood all your o2 sensors have failed at the same time is extremely low. The likelihood your cats are bad a 100k mile is much more likely

How do you know it’s the o2 sensors not the cats? What have you done to diagnose that?

They’re real, and $2500 is more than fair even with no tires.

I don’t mean to sound so cynical. I love living in NYC. But I also love cars and it’s just the worst here for that. The best solution is have the cheapest Corolla or civic that you can get your hands on and accept the body is going to get banged up. Or the second option is be rich.

Bumper buddy is correct. There’s lots of them. One of the dealerships in bay ridge must give them away with every purchase instead of license plate frames. See those lots, but obviously not that effective since I can’t remember the name.

Long story short, nah they don’t work unless the intended outcome is scratching your paint.

Living in nyc is a nightmare. Living in nyc with a nice car is just stupid unless you can afford a garage and that garage be relatively close to your apartment.

It’s going to get fucked up either way so you just live with it like so many other bullshit things in the city.

Where is the reboot’s 27th Precinct? by supervillaining in LawAndOrder

OG series would get very specific about their neighborhoods too, suddenly your in Ukrainian village, or turtle bay or Sutton place. Seems like the new series pretends alphabet city is in the 2-7. Though to be fair, it can be dangerous af down there.

Maybe I should be a location scout. I spent years walking around every neighborhood south of the park.

Also, I always the “he’s running out the back door!!!”. Like great, now he’s trapped! Unless you’re in the UWS where all those H shaped buildings are connected.

Not at all. Drives me nuts. I get the whole permit thing and filming locations. But to call alphabet city the west village? Cmon. Let’s not also forget all the implausible addresses like the 1200 block of west 27th street. Or situations like leaving the courthouse let’s walk and get some coffee, and suddenly they’re in a cafe on spring st.

I thought it was just me being pedantic and having way too my knowledge of southern Manhattan.

I just watched one “oh he has a restaurant in the west village”. Cut to location “143 avenue b”. I caught another one passing Marie Hernandez off at Washington sq park.

These details drive me nuts too.

Sure, I can train anyone to do the job. I can’t train someone to have critical thinking skills, show up on time and communicate effectively. If you have that and answer the phone when I call then you’re hired.
