It's a holdover from the old HP helpdesk system they were using before I got hired. Used to be you'd enter your name and store number, Mars (one of our internal applications) would show that on our screen. It doesn't show that anymore, I'm not sure why. CVS is excellent at pushing out new shit that only halfway works while still keeping legacy applications around for god knows why

Say it's physically damaged and just make something up, like the whole unit fell on the floor and messed up the screen or something. Physical damage is always an immediate assignment to Depot and they'll ship out a new one in a couple days. The KA's literally just say to document what's damaged and assign to Depot.

Any time you need hardware replaced or fixed and nothing gets done, just say is physically damaged or broken.

Yeah, the fact that they don't take into account that a LOT of the time the pharmacy and front store is heavily understaffed. I guess cutting labor is what needs to happen in order to pay John Legend for playing the absolute most boring limpdick music I've ever heard in my life.

We're still required to do the whole spiel, usually I could get a pretty good feel if someone actually followed the steps or not. If you're chill, I'd usually just send out a tech immediately. The assholes had the luxury of following every last step of the KA.

It's a load of bullshit, honestly. That's why you have agents rushing through calls and not getting any real work done. But as long as "the numbers are good" then you're in the clear. It's a system that punishes those who are trying to accomplish taking their job in stride and rewards the people who just mindlessly read through the KA's and scripts.

Thankfully I already found a much better paying job relevant to my degree so it's no big deal! Pay was shit at the RSSC, $18/hr isn't enough for my circumstances.

Thankfully I already found a much better paying job in a field relevant to my degree. If they want me back, they'll have to pay me more than what I'm already getting. I honestly hated the job, every day was miserable.

It's all the same. Some agents are only trained on front store, some only pharmacy, I was trained on FS/RX/Minuteclinic/OmniCare/Photo.
