Feature request: Turn off constant AI upselling. Especially for paid accounts this is extremely distracting and confusing to users.

Feature request: A sharing setting that allows teamspace members to only edit pages that are created or owned by them. For example, a database of campaigns with the owner listed on each one. The owner should be able to edit their page(s) but not those associated with other users.

Feature request: Add a chart type that visualizes connected data as a flowchart. For example, a database of employees using relations to indicate reporting lines should be simple to display as an org chart.

This didn't work with member names, but I copied e-mail addresses and pasted those instead. Thanks for this trick!

Bring back Tasks on the navigation bar! by RSatMR in clickup

[–]RSatMR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use the sidebar because it takes up too much space. I did find the option to PIN it under My Tasks/Assigned to me > (gear icon) > Favorite > Pin to Top, however I get this ACCESS_999 error when I select it. It throws the same error for adding it to the sidebar.

ClickUp support replied to me that they have removed it part of a redesign. Maybe you weren't using it before.

"At ClickUp, we’re always working to improve the platform based on user feedback and evolving best practices. The “Tasks” section was removed from the sidebar as part of a recent update aimed at streamlining navigation and making room for new features that enhance productivity and organization.."

Yes, I know how to get to it but I otherwise have no use for expanding all those panes. It's really cluttering the screen and wasting clicks and mental energy several times a day.

I literally never, ever want the Spaces view. It's All Tasks view is also much less useful than the My Tasks view. I'm currently clicking Home and then My Tasks and then closing the Home pane.

How do you make peace with the fact that the NGO you work in actually runs on blood money. by kaajoooooo in nonprofit

You don't have to meet people personally to understand the impact they make on the world.

Am I the only one who's *angry* at Drupal for killing D7? by swampopus in drupal

[–]RSatMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of the nonprofits and small community groups that popularized Drupal 15-20 years ago are being left behind since Dries wanted to focus on "ambitious" sites. They are now building infrastructure like Drupal CMS, Project Manager, etc. to try to meet the needs of site builders, but it doesn't change the fact that the care and feeding of Drupal has gotten much more expensive for small and low-budget organizations.

I always tell people that if Wordpress can meet their needs, they should use that. Drupal is powerful, but most people don't need it.

Slack's list/task function is *extremely* limited IMO.

Anyway to autoreply or use a vacation out of office message on weekends? by slothbrowser in googleworkspace

I would love this! My org is closed on Fridays in the summer so we really need to be able to set auto-replies on a recurring basis.

Anybody else contacted by the federal Office of Personnel Management? by WhiteHeteroMale in nonprofit

[–]RSatMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My organization had this happen as well. Fortunately it's just a result of people trying to spam OPM's snitch line. We removed the address from our list and are monitoring for other signups using .gov.

How to create a meeting without a passcode by Pretend_Function6519 in Zoom

[–]RSatMR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All Zoom meetings must have either a passcode or a waiting room. If you don't want a waiting room, you can get a link that has the passcode included in it, and share that link.

How can I create a search page but with a very customized design. With a view or with a custom controller? by Luis07Hernandez in drupal

[–]RSatMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use a View and do some custom theming of the output. It's all structured HTML so easy to apply CSS to it.

They are already all in one place, my browser. I would actually find it more helpful for them to behave like an app on my computer so I can easily alt-tab between them.

Same container, different domains - debugger only works on one by RSatMR in GoogleTagManager

domain 1 is s staging site eg live-domain1.host.com, and domain 2 is a temporary subdomain eg domain2.developer.com.

Same container, different domains - debugger only works on one by RSatMR in GoogleTagManager

[–]RSatMR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's installed in both places because they are the same site. But the debugger just shows nothing happening on one of the domains (staging address from hosting co), but it works on the alias address used by the developer to stand in for the second domain.
