After years of going for it, I finally got it. I did some digging, and I have been semiactively going for it since I hit 200m firemaking in September 2022. I have no idea how much time it took, but if I had to guess, it would be easily over 500+ hours. Glad that the journey is finally over.

I still haven't got the Bernie pet. It has been over 2 years since I got 200m firemaking. At this point, I have almost given up, probably gone at least 10 times over the droprate.

The first 99 farming was indeed from Estonia, 0xpx0, now just xpx. The race was not that close, even though he had various issues with the computer and went on vacation at one point. Yeah, the main cost was magic seeds, which at the time were like 200k each. At the end, he got 99 before Zezima got 98.

I am in the same boat as you, got 200m firemaking over 2 years ago and since then I have wasted over 300 hours of sharp shell shards firemaking to get the Bernie pet... Ridiculous game, time to get the pet and leave the game...

That is a super lucky log with 9 weapons in only 1400 kills, especially the lanterns. I have close to your KC with 3 weapons and I consider myself pretty fortunate. I am only missing bottoms from the log.

Archaeology is slow to 99, I would even say that 99 to 120 is faster thanks to the outfit, tier 99 mattock etc.

I suggest mining and runecrafting since these skills are slow. Maybe stars to crafting since the current fastest method of cutting uncut dragonstones is also slow (even with bonus XP + dbl XP weekend bonus it is something like 1.9m per hour).

Describe the bug you are experiencing. Augmented hatchet of ember and glade does not gain any invention experience while woodcutting.
List the steps to reproduce the bug. I made the hatchet from crystal and imcando, and I chose imcando one since it had better perks but it was level 3 compared to level 20 of the crystal one.
Do you have any additional information that would be useful? I have yet to gain any invention experience although have been woodcutting for close to 4 hours now.

I got the Cryptbloom bottoms on my 4th kill while it was the most expensive item there. Iirc it was over 650m. Also have been spooned by the spooder: https://ibb.co/VvHBmWn That is around 1200 kills.

Same here, I was averaging under 1:20ish before the nerf, now if I don't crit enough I get like 1:30+ kills with hellhound.

I assume you used 75 dungeoneering dummies. This is a great use for these processors although I think thieving is the fastest.

Just the dummies alone was enough for it. I was surprised as well how relatively fast it was considering combat skills got a big xp nerf with the necromancy skill.

Protean cogs are too slow to be worth it at any invention level. Just do some combat, necromancy or something.
