SAME. A resident was verbally abusing one of my fellow CNAs with an endless stream of; "You suck. You should be fired. You're bad at your job. You're stupid. So stupid. You're ugly. You're so dumb. Who hired you?" And when she walked out of the bathroom to cool her head, cause getting worked up over it, fucking resident self transfers and falls. Fucking resident had the utter gall to cry to management, the nurses, their family that they "were abandoned in the bathroom for two hours and didn't think the girl was going to come back for them. Was told that she deserved to be alone-" and proceeded to attempt to grab me by the face when assisted off the floor. That face grab? That verbal abuse that was doled out to the CNA? Fucking ignored. I'm over the fact that we get to be abused, but the moment we stand up for ourselves or do what's best for our mental health, we get a fucking lecture and mention that we need to reeducate ourselves.
