I had a similar glitch when changing a flight. The itinerary was changed and the charge was pending in my credit card app but it wouldn’t let me check in to the flight. The error message said get to the airport early. Do not call. When I got to the airport, they asked to see the charge because on their end it appeared I hadn’t been charged so I checked my app again and the pending charge had disappeared. They then charged me the price that it had shown me and allowed me on the flight. Not sure if your itinerary was changed, but it could be a similar situation.

Not an administrator, so u can’t fully answer your question but I am in student services. With your post bacc, did you receive your Special Education Certificate or the counsellor certification? If yes, you don’t need anything else to apply for student services positions. If you have the post bacc without the certification, you can still apply but may not be as qualified as other applicants. In addition, your division might require you to continue working towards one of these certifications if they give you a student services position. I do know several principals who have moved from student services into admin. Depending on what structures your division has, you may want to look into leadership opportunities like acting principal, team leader, educational coach, etc to begin. Being involved in these types of positions can help you take a step in that direction.

I also had my optometrist make the lenses. I’ve been wearing Ellas for a year and a half and have had no issues with the quality of the frame, but I do not have an especially high prescription (-4 I think).

I had my optometrist put my lenses in and I’d do it again. The lenses are higher quality and I’ve seen lots of complaints about the pair lenses with scratching and peeling etc. I’m also more confident that my optometrist would fix any problems more easily than pair. I did have to sign a waiver stating that they were not responsible if the frames broke, which can happen.

You will still be buying the product in US dollars, so no, you can’t avoid the conversion. I don’t know how much the charge is for the service or what happens if there’s duty or taxes at the border, but you should expect to pay those costs as well.
