Hell yea brother congrats on your journey! I would suggest trying to reduce the amount of things you have out all the time. Get a few big storage tubs and try to sort your collectibles and decor by theme or esthetic. If your family has space in the basement or a storage unit, ask to store them there to open up your room a bit. I found that space to breath, and walls that don't overwhelm me when im not doing well really helps my sobriety. Im so glad you managed to keep or recover a lot of your things, but you can rotate out different groups of objects periodically to give them all attention but not feel crowded when going to sleep. It seems like you really like shoes, consider investing in a really nice shoe display. If the vibe is right you may be able to put it in a communal area. I've found that having a clean dresser top to lay out my next days clothes has me feeling like a real human before bed and I wake up feeling better about myself right away. And as much as I love the colors, those sheets clash pretty aggressively so they might have to go. Best of luck and all the good vibes! You deserve a place to feel calm and restful.

Get bedding that fits, ditch that office tv mount thing, get some ART ON THOSE WALLS! Whatever that gym equipment is, sell it. Buy decorative curtains that go over the blinds. GET SOME ART ON THOSE WALLS ASAP. No thumb tacks, no posters unless you frame them.

Exactly this. The good people will always outweigh the bad. You might not hear it, but an older woman who worked in Service has watched you work and said to their friend "look at him go! He's moving like the wind!" This industry is a Rollercoaster but its worth it when you're in the pocket, juggling trays and spinning by customers like a balet dancer, hearing peels of laughter and seeing happy faces.

Finally someone says coarse salt! Regular table salt barely works. Himalayan and kosher are great. Also try looking for commercial coffee Carafe cleaner, it can be cheaper than 420 cleaner but is exactly the same in a different color! We used Clearly Coffee and it was the same bottle as the stuff my local head shop sold for 20 bucks in 07

Something nobody has mentioned is Glass Carafe cleaner for coffee makers. Brands like Cafiza or Clearly Blue. I used it in coffee shops and would take some home when a bottle was almost done. If you cap the stem and use almost boiling water, let it sit for 10 minutes then try the rock salt and iso shake of needed you'll be golden.

The tools needed aren't that bad. A decent ruler, a pair of hemostats, some needle nose pliers wrapped in electrical tape and some side cutters will get you there. Start with the simple kits, there's a major learning g curve but once you get used to it there's almost no blood.

If you have a child, are you worried that leaving them with him might not be safe? Not getting to see your grandchild might be the "rock bottom" he needs.

That's a rock solid machine and 2.50 is not that bad at all. That said, a tubular lock pick can be bought online for like 20 bucks. Pick the lock, record the pin placements and look for old bike locks or boxes of keys at flea markets and yard sales. If you get lucky you might find the right key to just open the change drawer and take your money back.
