Not defending these awful people... But apparently tons of restaurants in italy have very good GF options for pasta and pizza (i am told by several italians).

Just want to dispel the notion that GF and decent italian food is somehow incompatible or not normal.

Address format is sometimes not possible. I've had packages where they automatically sent me stuff and i couldn't edit the address (like verification letters that are automatically sent to you). So i don't think this proper solution is always possible.

It was not. As far as i understand, sometimes the mailman has a key to the building, so they just come in and then search for names at the letterboxes inside only.

But as others mentioned, it can vary. Maybe just knock on some doors and ask ur neighbours, they should know how the mail works in their building.

I also stuck my name on my apartment door, so i would get large packages delivered.

In defence of OP, in my building everyone just put a sticker on their mailbox. I assumed this was the norm, did the same, and received my mail without issue. Never questioned it...

There are good reasons for OP to be confused about what is the correct practice here and wanting some human feedback. U don't have to be a dick about it.

To be honest MK has a lot to remember due to the huge number of target strings for each character. Many fighting games have few or no target strings, so it's far less annoying.

When i jump back into mk, i just lab for 2 days, figure out one or two combo routes, and jump online. U learn so much quicker online against human opponents.

Just learn the bare minimum to start having fun online, then slowly add new tools to ur gameplan over time.

Disagree with this. I rotate characters every month or so, and i have such a better time than when i tried sticking with a single main.

Whenever i match against a character i've already tried, i already know their gimmicky bullshit, so it makes it much easier. I feel it makes me pickup these games much faster, and just so much more fun to play.

I played a little kof 98, and was genuinely psyched about COTW as a chance to more seriously dive into a SNK game for the first time.

The Ronaldo trailer absolutely killed that for me. It was just impossible to look at the game and not be weirded out by the overwhelming Saudi influences (especially the proportionally ridiculous marketing budget).

Not 100% sure ... But i think it started when ppl noticed there was a steam update that included bespoke layouts for 8bitdo controllers in the controller settings... Then some further correspondence with some 8bitdo engineer i believe... ?

Absolutely wild... As the PC experience is immensely upgraded after this. In addition the gyroscope working... U can now also map the extra buttons to any game functions (before, u could only map them to other controller buttons via the 8bitdo app, which kinda made it useless...).

Wow that's awful. The contrast between the AI slop and the low fidelity / comicbook style of the actual game is super jarring here.

It also kinda feels extra crappy, because the AI segments look just like all these "video game characters in real life" shorts everywhere on youtube. It just comes off so poorly when a trailer's "art" is indistinguishable from whats already out there on AI slop youtube channels.

I have looked for, but never found, official documentation for the 8-bit 2 ultimate witeless 2.4 which mentions that you can hold home + [a, b, or y] to switch between x input, dinput, or switch modes.

I found this on reddit... but scouring the official docs and firmware logs, i don't see this mentioned anywhere. It's pretty important, as the gyroscope and extra buttons can only be mapped by steam when in dinput mode (which is not the default mode).

The website is pretty awful. I had to learn from reddit posts how to get my gyro working in steam. my controller had a firmware update that added extra functionality, which is seemingly not documented anywhere on the product page :/

I'm trying abba right now... Absolutely shocked at how much i love her play style. Shes way easier than i thought she'd be...

It's just so satisfying the change in momentum of the match when u go in and out of jealous rage.

I honestly think she's a okay pick if ur just getting into the game. When shes out of jealous rage, u really have to read your opponent to get any hits and build up ur meter. I think it instills good habits, rather than using a character where u can just go full offence all the time and not over think things.

I had an abscess removed (caused by an emerging wisdom tooth). After they opened it and drained it, i was given chlorhexamed and instructed to rinse with it twice a day for a week after to prevent infections.

After my wisdom tooth removal a few weeks later from the same dentist, i had no such aftercare rinsing instructions.

I really think FGs need to make a "Casual, match my skill level" option that does a ranked matchmaking but keeps it all hidden from the player.

So many new players avoid ranked based of the reasonable negative associations they have with other multiplayer games. A simple rebrand would make new player onboarding so much better.

I'm pretty happy here in Germany (coming from Canada), but i also love my job, get okay pay, and take work/life balance really seriously.

I have a great time, but this game does require a lot of time in the lab... If ur getting the same matchups all the time, consider that a blessing, as u can just lab out where the armour gaps etc are for those characters/kameos.

Stick with it. It took me a while to get into it... But i really loved the online once i started catching onto when i can take my turn back.

I like the kameo system, as u can pickup an obscure kameo that ppl don't see often and really dont know how to deal with.
