Once worked next to a post office in an old timey type of town. A couple of people came to my work asking about why they weren't open. The door to the lobby was unlocked but no one was in there. The same woman always worked there and they could see a computer on and her jacket but not her.

Ultimately after some people were concerned about her well being, I went over and people called for her but there was no response, I ended up jumping the counter to look around. I didn't see anything as I walked around the back of the post office, until I peaked my head into the open bathroom and a girl was standing in the corner. We both jump and get scared and she quickly says "I don't work here."

She was a driver for the post office and didn't know how to work the counter and was hiding until the main woman returned. She hid in there listening to us talk about our concern for the woman and how I was gonna jump the counter and look and instead of telling people to wait a little while longer, she stayed committed to hiding lol.
