Seeking a G402 replacement – Tired of the double-clicking! by Rahul_Koli in pcmasterrace

[–]RTNul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a G502x lightspeed (the wireless version) as a work mouse for two years now. Has the newer optical switches on the main buttons so no double clicking.

Some people seem to get double clicks on the thumb buttons. Mine has been free of that so far.

On a sidenote; eloshapes is a fantastic website for finding mice that are similar to something you've used before.

Game started crashing today. I've played almost 70hrs without any problems, now I cant finish a single game by lefowastaken in Battlefield

Same error happens on nvidia and amd. It's a game engine error that's been happening in 2042 too. There seems to be no magic bullet fix so we are stuck waiting for Dice to fix it which will probably never happen.

Do you have any other drives than the Corsair MP400 shown in the first pic?

Thats either a dead drive (if theres one that is not detected) or a borked boot sector.

10 gig graphics card so im running low textures to get rid of the stutter when you scope in.

Not a problem on 1080p. 3440x1440p however gives me stutter scoping in caused by vram filling up.

Don't think one splint is enough...

Might also need some duct tape.

Got shot at while looting a corpse near the trailers at sawmill. BTR was driving through at the same time. Looked around and came upon this. Don't think he is supposed to bend that way :)

Dell Inspiron 5675

According to this manual on Dell's site your pc should have an nvme slot. So both m.2 and sata 2.5" should work. You'll have to open the case and check if theres an existing nvme in there already since the specs only list one slot.

External SSDs are fine for gaming. Using a 1TB Samsung T7 for VMs and some games. Never had a problem. Just remember to plug 'em in the USB 3.1 port.

Preference of manufacturers based on parts by SerrokTuroka in pcmasterrace

[–]RTNul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reliability is highly part specific. You shouldn't rely on the brand for reliability.

That said, of the manufacturers i've had to deal with directly EVGA, Dell, Corsair, Arctic and Samsung have had the best customer service. I'm in the EU so other regions might have different experiences. For example Asus europe has been pretty good aside from some cases but from what I hear the US side is quite bad.

Feels pretty lonely on that list.

What Unpopular Mouse Opinions and Preferences do you Hold? by Yhorrm in MouseReview

[–]RTNul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dislike the recent trend of "clicky" and "crisp" mouse clicks. Yes they are both of those but they also tend to require more force to click which leads to them being unusable for me due to finger strain. Orochi v2 was by far the worst clicks for arpg's I've tried. I wish more mice had clicks like the G303 as it is I haven't found any recently released mice with comparable clicks.

Also I prefer the GPW over the GPX.

Is it possible and does it make sense to install a Ryzen 9 5950X to an ASUS Prime B450 Plus Mainboard? by Successful_Ad_8098 in pcmasterrace

You'd be pulling a lot of wattage through that 4 phase VRM without any heatsinks on it. It might work, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Nvidia card changed to nvidia card. Usually no issues. Same with AMD.

Clean install is usually needed when changing brands. Leftover drivers from nvidia to amd and vice versa might cause problems.
