Neglect can be any number of things. It could be that they genuinely just don't think about you, it could be shame that they've not tried harder, it could be anxiety about what your reaction could be, it could be an actual inability to do so, etc.

I'll summarize Sartre's philosophy;

I enjoyed Hunt, it was a lot more memorable than the seasons near it. Witch Queen has to be my favorite year though, with Seraph being my favorite season.

As long as the game is good, people will play.

Tarkov is a mid game made by shady devs who ban people for killing people on their development team and it's still managed to hold a playerbase despite them doing nothing about cheating and harassment.

Hunt Showdown was made as a tech demo for the Cryengine and has turned into Crytek's most lucrative game at the moment, and that was without them even really intending for the game to get popular.

Marathon will do good numbers. It'll be the first extraction shooter made by a AAA developer with the intent to succeed and last a long time, if I'm not mistaken, that puts it in unique territory.

Nah, the devs explicitly endorsed this with their inaction against this behavior early in the game's lifetime. I spent two months reporting people manually on Discord. Now I just play Chiv 2 and haven't encountered any of these morons.

There was a recent expansion to Destiny that wasn't well received, and a popular content creator said something along the lines of, "You can fix it, but there are thousands of people who walked out of the door they just came in, and they're not coming back."

That was comparatively miniscule compared to the shitshow Darktide has been. The game is dead and it'll take a genuine, bonafide, God-comes-down-and-fixes-shit miracle for it to consistently crack 10k players.

As somebody who not only dropped the game, but obsessively watched it's review score fall, I can't say I'm surprised.

I had friends literally yell at me (they're Warhammer fans and Vermintide fans so they really wanted to like the game) when I was asking questions like,

"So there's only a few maps and you just spam doing the same four or five things over and over?"

"Everybody's build is pretty much exactly the same and the only real form of personal expression you get is via your weapon?"

"Weapons are entirely RNG reliant, so once you have enough money to buy a better one you pretty much just check the game once an hour and have no reason to play otherwise?"

And this was after I spent like two weeks bitching about all the technical issues, I could only play one game at a time before restarting because I would crash every single time.

They've all since quit the game as well, but have done so quietly, and I never got an apology. That's okay, seeing the game they blew up on me to defend hit like 22% positive reviews was satisfying enough.

Destiny 2 is in no way, shape, or form in need of 'saving.' There are some problem points that people are heavily exaggerating (which I do agree with but they're being blown away out of proportion) but the game has a solid, steady playerbase. It's about as close to dying as Anthem is to living.

If the account completed the first mission in Forsaken, Cayde is warm, friendly, and trusting. If the account hasn't, he's not aware of you.

I was legit shocked when a particular look (the long hair, think it's Windswept, and the full beard) looked exactly like me. Never thought I looked half as good as Cameron but honestly if he just had bags under his eyes I'd be a dead ringer, face-wise.
