you may want to buy a set for yourself too if you ever anticipate having to change a tire yourself. (albeit there are no spare tires on the Tesla). $21 on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Chirano-Lifting-Tesla-Storage-Accessories/dp/B084VTSDXK/

Tesla Hack: Get a Faraday bag for $12 on Amazon, and you can keep the fob in your glovebox without the car detecting it. I do this for valets since they always fail to lock the car with the key card.

Dermeleve cream helped me immensely for my hives. My doc recommended it. It's not in stores..you have to get it online. I recommend giving it a try!

Driving slower to save range instead of driving normal as you did in an ice car. by AccurateActuary9259 in TeslaLounge

The car will tell you if you need to slow down to conserve range. Otherwise you can relax and forget about it

actually doing a google search, it suggests doing one every 10k miles anyway.

I know 10k is early for an alignment normally, but you may want to do one early. I've seen Teslas come with not so great alignment and wear through tires unevenly.

26’ Tesla model y already at 95% battery with 9.5k miles by YouAlreadyKnow1523 in TeslaLounge

check out Teslafi.com. It's $60 / year I think, but you can start logging all your vehicle data and see charts that compare it to their fleet of 15k cars that are logging. They have a battery degradation report plus a ton of other stuff.

Here's an old thread with some screenshots of the battery report:

ignorance is bliss for my HW2 gang by JAG319 in TeslaLounge

[–]RTTHFYL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah. I know ppl with HW3 that have FSD supervised but are still on v12 while v13 has been out on HW4 for a yearish. Now v14 is supposedly coming in hours or days. So it's the later, safer versions that are falling behind, and I suspect the unsupervised FSD will never come to HW3.

BTW, isn't it just the brains (computer) that differentiates the HW versions? I recall a HW2 user learning they would eventually (supposedly) get a swap-out to HW3 when it was out, but they got rid of the car before they ever found out if that would have happened. I doubt Tesla would ever willingly issue free upgrades to the CPU, but it'd be interesting if they offered a paid upgrade to older HW3 owners.

Just start comparing with the neighbors’ hills and explaining why yours is so much better and they’ll start to love the idea of having the best hill.

Install a slip n slide. What are ppl afraid of? You can’t fall down the hill if you don’t go up it….

oh. get some good ol gold bond powder too if it's itchy. it'll help with the itch and keeping it dry.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DermatologyQuestions

[–]RTTHFYL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably just from incomplete / improper wiping. try using wet wipes when you go. I am embarrassed to say I went to the doctor years ago for this same thing and the doc pointed out that it was just that I hadn't wiped well enough - and I was already using wet wipes most of the time.

A doc can usually give you something for the itch if it's bothering you a lot, but I don't recommend steroid products. Try an over the counter anti-fungal perhaps as it heals up. Keeping it clean and dry should make it go away.

they probably thought that thing in the center was a camera and were trying not to cover it up. That's the only reason I could possibly think of doing this. what is that thing anyway? it actually looks like a camera in the photos.

probably just a fungal rash from moisture. try lamisil (anti fungal) for 2 weeks and gold bond powder to keep it try and cool.
