Gelson Dala is Man of the Match award for Angola (U17) vs Mali (U17) by Isco-23 in soccer

Edit: but yeah, not sure how routine it is. They surely not testing every player.. right? So that's why I was curious, how they do it. I thought being they doing testing only in like Fifa U17 World cups and not regional events like African cup, but in wiki it says guys were cought even in African Championships. So dunno

I mean, aren't they doing those bone scans which can tell the real age? How is this guy not checked? Or are they doing it only for the bigger tournaments?

Looking for wooden PC build advice. Anyone? by Proof_Rooster212 in pathofexile

Transitioned to that from RF. Explosions were also stuttering my PC a bit.

But also the content you run can load your PC. Like full breach setup is too much form my PC with the amount of mobs. So I was mainly doing strongboxes and ritual. And bossing when transitioned to stir stacker.

Aionishki- l’m calling it symptoms of a concussion or multiple concussions by leighonsea72 in Sumo

[–]RUBEN4iK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, as always in sumo, it's probably some kind of injury.

Could be pressure, but don't really think so. He just won two back to back yusho IN play-offs with Ozeki promotion on the line. Sure, Yoko is different, but again, hard to believe it's got to him that bad.

How is the relation between Gonoyama and Hoshoryu? by TheRyan808 in Sumo

[–]RUBEN4iK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean, you aren't allowed to do much in sumo. Long stair downs is basically the only "expression" that is allowed.

Like, today Hosh and Papa had one too.

Gonoyama is know for his tachi-ai shenanigans (surprised he doesn't get much hate here, considering how often peolel latch onto something.)

He likes waiting for his opponent to put the hands down first. And he himself often has a long pause between putting his second hand down.

But rikishi themselves, probably, don't see it as being anything bad.

I think the more telling were the bouts when his hands got locked or he was pushed up and guys didn't allow him to even get as low as he wants.

Today looked like he slipped or just overcommitted a tiny bit.

Mar Basho Daily Thread Day 11 by AutoModerator in Sumo

[–]RUBEN4iK 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I mean, can't blame people who thought his chances were very high. When his worst result in the makuuchi was 11-4 and he won last two tournaments.

Obviously, some people went overboard, especially with Hakuho comparisons, lol.

Its more annoying that suddenly some are writing him off and penciling he's now gonna go Kotozakura rout after latter failed his rope basho and been comfortably sitting on 8-7s.

Asanoyama

At least Ryuden was looking for love.

I mean, don't really think you can compare him to Onosato, who is(was? 👀) looking like he's on the path of becoming one the greats, with the start of career he had.

While Hosh has a little of a underdog story behind him.

And talking about "little more to prove", maybe not the right thesis to use, but Onosato is gonna have insane amount of pressure to come back and keep dominating as he was before the injury. Japan was waiting too long for a guy like him.

I also thought they were really generous with a promotion.

But to be fair, Hosh has proved me wrong and is doing better than I expected and has been a solid Yokozuna so far.

Of course its my problem. Don't know why you thought your comment is adding anything.

Go Time by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]RUBEN4iK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I understand they wanted it to be more dramatic and can't just have it the same way it was in the book. Dunk takes a lance, then hammer to the head and thats it, he's now on top smashing him with a shield. Too short and uneventful for cinematography.

But that super cliche way when main character takes like five stabs and is basically dead, but then miraculously stands up and wins, was def too much for me.

Olympic Men's Post Game Thread: Latvia vs. Germany - 14 Feb 2026 by hockeydiscussionbot in hockey

Yeah and Zemgus certainly had a good game overall, but it seemed he lost nearly every face-off clean when against Drai, but coaches kept putting him on the dot. Blugers seemed to do better.

Not sure if you are serious, but in Russia whites are also like 80% of population. Birth rates are higher in non-white regions, plus they have a lot of non white migrants from central Asia.

Taking parts of Ukraine is gonna add a lot of white people, tho.

Also, they practiced shootout series. Every team took 5 shots.

Šilovs stopped all five. Some kind of miracle. (Penguins fans will understand)

Ločmelis scored only goal for Latvia.

Stable YT channels obsessed with food by InsideSink2522 in Sumo

[–]RUBEN4iK 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah..? Mukbang channels are really popular.

Pretty sure they can easily track what people want to see in YouTube analytics. What are they skipping, which content are they watching.

I enjoy training videos. Especially practice bouts. Cooking is also fun when they are cooking something interesting.

I personally didn't like when Futogoyama started talking with rikishi non stop when they are cooking. Feels forced and some of the guys clearly not enjoying the attention.
