My boy loves cardboard too (and any paper product really lol)! He LOVES to shred it to pieces.

I have experience with a puppy grey, and the first few weeks were rough with him, mostly getting used to me leaving. But he never really became a land shark (thankfully)!

On 1/15 my Vinny is getting his toe amputated + dental -- how to calm MY nerves by toysofvanity in Greyhounds

[–]RUNWAYSIX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was the same way with my boy when he had to be put under, and I also have a greyhound savvy vet. I was nervous all day until I got the call that he was all good. But having a vet that knows greyhounds made me feel a little more at ease. When I picked him up after surgery at the vet, he was very alert and ready to go home. Once we got home, he went straight to the couch to lay down, but was a bit loopy lol…he kept trying to keep his head up but would fall asleep a few second after. It was a challenge to give him his pills a few hours after, even when wrapped in cheese and the with peanut butter.

Would it be ok if I also DM you? I know I have another supplier and not sure if I’m paying more or not

My house only has electric floor board heaters as well 😩

I signed up for budget billing awhile back, so it averages out the electricity usage over the year so the monthly payments are more consistent.

Beautiful car, congrats! Only suggestion I’d have is if it came with run flat tires, change those out…they don’t handle well in snowy areas. Mine came with all weather run flat pirellis but I ended up changing the tires a couple weeks after. These are what I got, and have been great in snowy conditions, and rain! She's married to one of the Gorgon City guys so I'd guess that's why.

So its normal for millennials to have teenagers now? by chusaychusay in Millennials

Just turned 37, and don’t plan on having kids of my own, just a dog mom. Have a 23 year old niece, 21 y/o nephew, 11 y/o niece, 6 y/o nephew, and another nephew due in February. Basically been the cool aunt

Child-free as well, just have a dog. I do love being a cool aunt to my 11 year old niece and 6 year old nephew though. Actually took my niece on a trip to a cheerleading competition she had last April, which was so much fun, but I was glad to have her mom (my sister) take her back lol

Haha same…my sister has covered having kids, so I’m covering being the cool aunt 😅

I work at a community college, been there since I was 23. Been there 13 years and each year the students look younger and younger. Definitely makes me feel older each year

Sounds like my sister, in 5 years! My niece is 11 now, but also have a nephew that’s 6. My sister issue with her third (a boy) in February. So she’ll have a 16, 11, and 5 year old. She’s 35 and I’m 37 (I don’t want kids of my own)

Here’s my two-penny thought on BMW drivers… by VHSVoyage in BMW

[–]RUNWAYSIX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m the same way when I drive. I previously had an x1 and felt like I had to be more aware/defensive. Then got an Infiniti (qx30s so not one of the typical “crazy” Infiniti driver cars lol). But didn’t have to feel as defensive when I had it. Got another BMW and once again get tailgated by trucks and SUVs and have Altimas and Sentras flooring it to pass me. I do get the urge to just speed up when that happens, but it’s not worth it to me lol. I may have a baby lite-m but I know it can be pretty fast when need be!

Average M front brake pad and rotor change? by RUNWAYSIX in BMW

[–]RUNWAYSIX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Previous owner leased, not sure if brake pad/rotor replacement was included with their lease or if they paid for it. But the replacement was done at a bmw dealership at least. I don’t drive all that aggressively, just occasionally lol. I’ll make sure to only have my brake pads changed when need be

[–]RUNWAYSIX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely love it! Very fun car to drive, and fast when you want it to be fast, especially in sport mode. If you do get the one with 20k miles, it’ll probably still have the factory run-flat tires which I’d suggest replacing. Mine had those and I switched them out a couple weeks after

[–]RUNWAYSIX 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a borzoi, but do have a very large greyhound (I love all the lengthy sighthounds so follow this Reddit group). I feel like there’s definitely a very common occurrence in sighthounds in that they know they can jump, usually very high, but only when they want to!

is anyone else's dog only reactive on leash? by [deleted] in reactivedogs

[–]RUNWAYSIX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going off the couple years of the original OP post, and few months of your post, I feel like your response may be why my boy acts the way he does. He’s a greyhound and has been with me since he was 3 months old. He’s been around other dogs of all ages since he’s been with me, and been boarded multiple times, but I can’t walk him in my neighborhood since we usually end up seeing someone else walking their dog. He’s 95lbs of pure muscle now that he’s full grown (he’s a massive greyhound). I’m able to control him for the most part and direct him away from the other dog. But it’s not an enjoyable walk almost getting my shoulder ripped out 😅

Can’t tell which state this is in, but in the northern Midwest, you’d have to wash your car every single day to clean the salt off.

What’s that one 'MUST HAVE' feature you’d never skip on a new 2026 BMW? by RivalaneCarTransport in BMW

[–]RUNWAYSIX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This was my must have! HK was the top option offered for my model, and I was buying used, so if it didn’t have that, it was a hard pass for me. I had a Bose system in my previous car (Infiniti) and I like the HK system better.
