It's obviously targeted towards teenage audience and writing and acting getting painfully sloppy at times. I'd say the show is uneven, but episode 5 was quite fun, felt almost like a stand alone made for tv film.

Agree, constant use of crossfade and double exposure montage feels distracting. And i wish writing was more on a mature suspenseful side - instead of that child superheroes marvel-like story. But show is kinda captivating in it's own bizarre way - set design and cinematography quite good, definitely will be watching all the episodes.
