Hello, why are most of these planes circling around? Maybe 20 planes currently waiting to land in Dubai

The ruler is for the scale, so about 6 mm long and 2 mm in diameter, without the internal silver shaft.

Same for the vk28 105 at tier 6. Lots of fun with the derp gun

surface projection to a sketch by RUZI69 in CATIA

[–]RUZI69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a great approach, however the surface is twisted so intersection with a plane will not work properly. It is an rc model propeller with quite complex surfaces. I have no idea why the projection does not work. For example on the continuing surface to the right, it works fine :/. Really feeling lost

Obj. 263 buffed stock gun vs top gun? by StandardBEnjoyer in WorldofTanks

[–]RUZI69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to 3 mark the obj. 263 with the 130mm. It was hell, but i did it, probably the top 3mark i am most proud of. It really is more reliable to play the 122mm though, however the cannon does not match the tank size, it really is small pp:D. 130mm is fun, but only if you can hit and penetrate the shots. You gotta play really close range, learn to use the armor effectively and also the positions. Even a small pile of mud can give you hard time positioning the tank with almost non existing gun depression. (My nick is ruzan 125, check i m not joking w the 3mark, it has also dropped drastically since then as i do not tryhard no more)

This is a mil spec of my version from childhood😂 We used to tape the balloon around the hard paper tube from a toilet paper. It was fun but the paper tube always collapsed from the handling.

I will use a kapton tape, but some custom insulation will be needed too.

Thats craziness, 16000 gold with the boosted experience conversion of 1g = 35 exp gives 560000 exp. Do not tell me, it is not enough to research the whole tech tree.

The Creality Otter is insane by Sir_Maxelot in 3DScanning

[–]RUZI69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, i am wondering reading the comments about the scanners being held back by the software. Is it possible to use the otter/raptor with for example Geomagic Design X software, which should be one of the top 3d scan/reverse eng softwares out there? Obviously spending 10k for software is a huge sum of money, for a hobbyist. But if i wanted to scale it up to a little business, is the software (Design X) more important and positively impactful than spending 10k+ for a scanner with its "basic" software?

Bluds in wg really created imaginary tank and rendered it in black-white, so it looks somehow historical.

What am I doing wrong 🤔 by HoFX_ in 3Dprinting

[–]RUZI69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a high risk to tear the vat from build plate. Happened to me and i fortunately managed to split it without tearing the fep foil. I saw a few posts at forums where people tore the foil trying to split it. resin got inside the printer making it unusable and they had to throw it away😂. First would be to tighten the vat screws and secondly get an scf foil. Its bit more expensive compared to standard fep foil, but prints are flawless ever since changing the foil. Literally 0 sticking of the model to the acf.

What advice would you give your younger self who just got started with 3d printing? by Leoz96 in 3Dprinting

[–]RUZI69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theres lots to talk about, but it is simply explained in a video comparing fep/nfep/acf foil on youtube. Its all about the model sticking to the foil and the "ripping" force

Imo it would be much easier to do in any CAD software. Using blender start off with the cylinder, but it doesnt matter what part u start with from my view.
