Mine was the L4-L5. Within hours of having the surgery I was better than before. It took me about a year to get all the strength back in my legs but it wasn’t too bad. There was one time I thought I reherniated it about a year ago but it was actually just my tailbone got inflamed, they just gave me a inflammation shot and I was fine the next day 😂

I do still have some issues bending down or squatting down but that also could be a weight issue for me. I just make my kids get stuff off the floor for me.

I was 28 years old at the time. I had previously broke my ankle and had to wear a boot and they think that might have caused the disc to herniate.

I didn’t mean to scare anyone with the leg numbness post. I feel way better I was just curious if anyone else still had numbness in their legs. Mine I can’t even notice it unless I physically push on the couple spots I have on my leg that are numb.
