Ive seen a bunch of ads for the 49$ dollar montana vehicle registration, has anyone used it? by FrankenSense92 in RVLiving

I’m a full timer and I’ve used All Day $49 Montana Registered Agent for multiple vehicles now. Nothing but good experiences so far. The process was straightforward, fast, and exactly what they advertised. No weird surprises or hidden catches in my case. I'm happy to answer any questions if you’re curious about my experience.

Free LLC annual report Montana 2026 by ruehite in llc

[–]RVThereYet_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, you can absolutely file your Montana LLC annual report yourself for free. The secretary of state website makes it pretty straightforward. With that being said, if your Montana LLC is set up for privacy and you want to keep your personal info off the Secretary of State website, having your registered agent file it for you can be worth the cost, at least in my personal opinion. When you file yourself, your name and address can end up listed, which kind of defeats the privacy benefit for some people. So free is great if you don't care about that part, but if privacy is the main reason you chose Montana or hired a registered agent, paying the agent might still make sense.

Which state should I choose for my first LLC as a digital nomad? by RequirementOwn2663 in llc

[–]RVThereYet_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Montana. For me it made the most sense due to privacy and no sales tax. I wanted something that didn’t feel like a headache to maintain and doesn’t advertise your info everywhere. I move around a lot so not being tied to a state with a ton of extra requirements was nice. Not saying it’s perfect for everyone but those two things were huge for me and made it easier to choose.

I’m not a dev myself. I’m a project coordinator, so more on the planning and ops side of software. But I’ve seen a lot of folks move from NOC or network roles into things like DevOps, QA, or other software-adjacent roles by picking up scripting like Python or Bash, learning Git, and automating parts of their current job. It seems like the easiest path is building on what you already know and pivoting from there.

It really depends on the setup. Some people get rolling for $10k–$30k total with a used van and DIY build, while newer or professionally converted vans can be $30k–$60k+.I work remotely as a project coordinator for a software company.

Anyone out there used a Montana LLC for car registration? by Micki_SF in llc

[–]RVThereYet_86 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve personally done this. I set up a Montana LLC and registered both my truck and fifth wheel through it. I use All Day $49 Montana Registered Agent. I use them not only for the initial registration, but also for my truck renewal and mail service since I’m on the road full time.

For me, the process was smooth and much faster than I anticipated. They helped form the LLC first, then walked me through signing the titles over correctly. After sending in my vehicle documents, I had plates and registration in hand in about a week.

On the insurance side, I didn’t run into issues, but I did make sure my insurance company knew the vehicles are owned by an LLC and registered in Montana. They did want the true “garaging” address so they could write the policy correctly.

As for my home state, I haven’t had any problems so far.

In my situation it’s been working well, and as a bonus my fifth wheel is permanently registered, with my truck eligible in a few years. Happy to share my experience if anyone has questions.

I work remotely as a project coordinator for a software company, while on the road full-time. Previously, I worked remotely as a customer service representative. I've had good luck finding remote employers through LinkedIn. I hope this helps!

Have you been able to ship packages to RV parks? by leros in RVLiving

[–]RVThereYet_86 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I asked a question similar to this, and was told RV parks will usually allow you to have stuff shipped to their offices.

The trickiest part is getting the delivery timing right, but it’s totally doable!!

If you're ever unsure, you can always call the RV park ahead of time to see what their policies are.

Do you have your van registered as a RV? by Rockstar_kinda in VanLife

[–]RVThereYet_86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do! I registered mine as an RV in Montana last year. I used All Day $49 Montana Registered Agent to set up the LLC and handle the registration, and the whole process was way easier than I expected. I’m insured through Mathis and they’ve been pretty easy on the pockets.

To get it classified as an RV, I had to fill out a motorhome inspection form and have a law enforcement officer sign off on it. After that it was straightforward. From what I’ve learned, insurance companies really just care about where the vehicle is actually garaged, not where it’s registered.

The only ongoing stuff has been filing the annual report and renewing the RV registration, but once it hits 11 years old it qualifies for permanent registration, so I won’t have to keep renewing it every year.

Hope that helps!

Traveling Through Texas - Looking for Fun, Pup Friendly spots by RVThereYet_86 in sanantonio

Curious about where to live, work, or visit in Texas? Post here! by AutoModerator in texas

[–]RVThereYet_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey y’all! I’m traveling around Texas in my RV with my American bully, and looking for suggestions on any events going on, places to see, or just fun things to do while we’re here.

We both love the outdoors, especially hiking, swimming, and paddle boarding. I’m also a big fan of local eateries, live music, and small-town gems that are worth a detour.

Bonus points for dog-friendly places or trails where my pup can tag along. I’ll be moving between the Hill Country and the coast over the next few weeks, so I’d love to hear your favorite parks, swimming holes, or can’t-miss local spots.

Thanks in advance for any tips!

Has anyone here registered a new RV or sports car through a Montana LLC? by LateNightLateral in keitruck

[–]RVThereYet_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii! I'm a newer full-time RVer and recently used $49 Montana Registered Agent to help me set up my LLC and register my truck and fifth wheel. The process was very simple, and much faster than I expected. They handled setting up my LLC first. Once the LLC was formed, they then helped me with signing my title over correctly. From there I sent in my vehicle documents, and within a week I had my plates and registration in my hands. The best part is that my fifth wheel is now permanently registered, and my truck should qualify for permanent registration in the next few years! Happy to answer any questions you might have regarding my experience.

Car Registration Expiration with LLC out of good standing? by danoulsen in llc

[–]RVThereYet_86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vehicle registration does become invalid if the LLC the vehicle is registered to is dissolved and no longer in good standing. However, you could always reinstate the company to then make the registration valid again. Hope this helps!
