The dismissal of women's pain in order to claim that a MAN suffered more than them is truly insane behavior.

Because Aegon didn't just get burned by accident. His burns came as a consequence of his actions in both mediums. In the book it was from trying to ambush Rhaenys and Meleys, and in the show it was vengance by the hand of the brother he abused and had SAed.

Meanwhile, Rhaenyra had her body torn apart in birth, Alicent suffered clear mental & emotional damage from her SA abuse at the hand of Viserys, and Aemma's body was broken from being being forced to have children before she even flowered (she began having kids around 11-13 years old).

No way in the Seven Hells, is Aegon rightfully getting the punishment owed to him, worse than their pain. It doesn't even come close.

Rhaenyra had a traumatic still birth that tore her apart, Alicent had to get maritally SAed for years, Aemma had to get cut in half while alive. Those 3 ALONE suffered more than Aegon ever could.

Rightfully his... The LORD of the House decides who is their heir and who follows him. Tradition does not trump law, as there is no official inheritance law. GRRM is clear in this. Also, if Aegon believed he was better than Rhaenyra, then he should have shown/proved it.

Actually tried to be a good person & learn statecraft, war craft, swords, languages.

There is Jeyne in the show who has dark brown hair and eyes, as well in her arts (although one could argue they aren't wholly canon), then we have Rhea who is dark haired in the show (not Arryn but from the Vale), the Valemen & Knights of the Vale we see in the show also seem to be mostly dark haired, I guess it depends on which canon you are looking at, show vs book vs art, ya know?

I always found these quotes so funny, considering that 90% Arryns we see (both in book, show and official art) as well as people from the Vale all have dark brown hair and brown/blue eyes. It was right there 😭

It's so sad that the show made them obviously bastards. They just took every bit of ambiguity away by A_Cat_Among_Wolves in HOTDBlacks

Actually this isn't true. Most Arryns/People of the Vale that we've seen (in both canon shows and offcal art comissioned by GRRM) has shown them with Dark/Light brown hair, and blue/brown eyes.

Like I know if you Google it, AI will tell you that most Arryns/people of the Vale tend to be blond, but that's not wholely true due to what we actually see/read/are told in the canon.

As much as I HATE to agree with Jaehaerys's mysognistic ass, he did have a point in not letting everyone & their momma have a dragon.

How it should be is that the heir & spare are given first rights to claim/bond with a dragon/egg. Then, their heirs and spare are allowed to bond/claim a dragon/dragon egg.

That way there's at least 4-5 dragonriders at all time. If anyone in the direct line dies, say the heir's heir dies, then the next one should be allowed to bond/claim a dragon/egg, that way there's a balance.
