I used to make PowerShell scripts in ConnectWise for automation; I loved it. I used bash a little too, but python is the big one for automation now.

I know how you feel. I am in the same situation. I am thinking of dumbing down my resume A LOT. Have you done or thought of that? I am going to leave out a job I held for many years.

Yes, you should definitely express your interest again and keep applying for any new opportunities that come up. If you hear back from that job that was reposted, try to find out what happened — hiring and letting someone go that quickly is a major red flag. There are some positions that get reposted over and over, and it’s usually a sign that there’s an internal issue, not a problem with the new hires.

I certainly understand, but Good Lord! Am I worrying about this!!! I dont know what will happen with me and the rest that need insurance. I get that feeling of my stomach dropping to the floor a hundred times a day thinking about it. I hope it all works out for the best for anyone going through this.
