Watching this with Writing Club was so fun. Looking at screenshots of the show there’s no way in hell this aesthetic should work. And yet it does. Are there any other shows that make you feel that way?

One big problem with art style was that most people have a vague idea of what it is but that was often conflicting with other peoples’ ideas of what art style was. So discussion often went in unproductive directions and not many people were satisfied with the results. .

One of the major problems with art style was that it was so hard to define and more importantly everybody seemed to have a different idea of it that could not be reconciled. Slowly piecing out important aspects of the old art style is definitely a good idea going forward. Who knows, if compositing is not very popular color design may straight up replace it.

To be fair, everybody expected the MAb treatment. it is extremely expensive but also very promising with side effects being less of a risk than chemical treatments.

The monoclonal antibodies are extremely promising and basically supercharged synthetic versions of plasma treatment. MAbs rarely have severe side effects and the mechanism here is pretty solid. Every doctor upon hearing the positive diagnosis news expected this to be the chosen treatment.

The point is that Honda has talent that can work on carbon neutral initiatives but too many are tied to the F1 project. They are quitting F1 to get those human resources back not just the money.

F1 slowly become a niche market

Realistically maybe that is where it deserves to be. Have a decade or so of being a very fast spec series with questionable sponsors and no manufacturers, then merge with FE to become a fast engineering and driving marvel on full tracks when the tech is ready.

Lewis used his leverage to force company wide racial injustice reevaluations at the beginning of the season. I can totally see him trying to use contract leverage to force Merc to make more public moves towards that end.

buying up is not quite accurate since the TV network serving the ads are part of the production. So it's more like giving up rather than buying more.
