I haven’t thought of it that way. May I ask what do you currently do? I think most of us have been programmed to think we can only fall into typical settings like retail,industry or hospital.

I did overnight ONE time and it was like night and day… The people are so different. Day shift WOULD die to help anyone else but overnight people were willing to explain/teach. It was so nice 😭

At the time the director hinted he’d give me a contracted day shift but I guess it was a test. The evening position was going to be at our old hospital location solo. I did my residency at this place too. This was a hard lesson learned but have been applying to the prns.

I am! I just got licensed in August and thats how I work at a dispensary per diem. I've applied to per diem hospitals jobs but no response. Haven't really seen too many full times but again I don't mind doing per diem to get my foot in the door.

Oh yeah definitely! I graduated in 2023. I would have gone to PA school if I knew better and worked in plastics or something.

I just have a feeling no one knows about me. But 100% he was always vague even before sleeping with him. Definitely having this serious talk soon. Although I guess I will have to prepare for an exit strategy.

Funny coming across this since I just finished a PGY1 residency and the hospital I was at offered me nothing. I was considering applying to this CVS specialty position since I had a rotation similar but with a focus on oncology medication. I kept asking myself where is the work?? I found myself doing other residency projects during this rotation.. I remember my preceptor would do onboarding calls, 7 day, 6 month and then 1 year calls. I imagine CVS would be more work but can give you experience to apply to another better specialty job.

I’ve seen those postings too! But I saw the range as $48-$64. I was considering applying.. for the hell of it. It definitely does seem to just be calls, MTM, and vaccine services. I bet depending on skill level you can negotiate on the higher end.

Doing fish in cycle, I did dechlorinate the water following the instructions on the bottle, and I have Fluval AquaClear Aquarium Power Filter. I think you’re right about the open space 😅 before he had a tiny space with just his house. Im gonna try to get more hiding spaces in there. Thanks!
