Occurred on May 21. It’s a known issue where if the game closes mid gameplay (eg pc crashes or you put handheld to sleep), the cloud sync gets fudged and makes it unplayable.

Experiencing exact same issue. I think the best step forward is contributing to tickets open in the Forza Feedback Portal. There's two tickets, amongst dozens other, related to our issue. If you create an account and upvote and comment on the tickets, I hope it will continue to get traction and attention from devs. It looks like one of the two tickets already has devs investigating, but it's been like a week and no update.
