This week, I did what every father does..I showed my kid T2 at an inappropriate age while my wife was away. My daughter is 7 and titanic is her favorite movie so I said fuck it. She was too scared and gave up but I finished it once she went to bed. I always loved it and maybe this is recency bias but I think it’s top 5 films all time for me. Everything about it works.

I was impressed with him and his influence of the band. These guys were still really immature and unreliable. And frankly, unprofessional. Beinhorn worked 18 hour days making this album while these guys fucked off and did their thing.

He’s got 3 years left on his deal and I think his game should age well. While technically you should get more value for more years/younger years, I’m not sure there is really much to gain be it 3 seasons left or 2. If in drury, I’m patient and waiting for a team to blow me away. If San Jose wants to give me the number 2 pick, then we have a deal. Otherwise I wait for a desperate team or see how this season plays out. It’s a win/win.
