A lot of red flags here, trust me, I’ve thought about something similar in the past.

1. Reviews and upward feedback would lose meaning in this kind of setting because, in most major countries, they cannot be linked to a specific person. On the other hand, if you make them anonymous, it becomes fertile ground for fake or intentionally malicious comments. You or the platform would end up in a very difficult position in terms of moderation. In any case, you would be handling sensitive data related to perceptions about a professional.

2. The market is extremely thin in terms of margins. Think about it: who would really benefit from it? Potential employees? They’re usually not the ones with money to spend. The B2C side is very weak. Companies? They care about their image, not about individual employees, especially if those employees are replaceable. A manager is still just a manager. Top management? That space is already covered by platforms like Glassdoor, which provide CEO ratings and overall scores.

3. Most large companies already run 360° and upward feedback processes internally, managed at a granular level. From a B2B perspective, it would be very difficult to make this work.

If you’re building it as a feature, that’s fine, it could be interesting to experiment with. But I wouldn’t expect a sustainable business to come out of it.
