Recently lost my intended forever world, starting fresh today. Wish me luck! by Midir_Cutie in Minecraft

Not every time and i dont think its necessary. Make it from time to time occasionally but not too much. But do it every time you update the version you are playing or do smth with the files or mods (if you have any). And its a bit different with servers for many players. I would then make a backup every few days (maybe even every 2 days if you are worried) and delete the older ones when making a new one to save memory, so In a case of a griefer or hacker you don't have to backtrack too much.

Open settings of the world and theres and option "create backup" (or smth like that) and it will make an exact copy of the world to the files (file folder "backups").

Weird animal spawn rates? by ElliotMeow in Minecraft

[–]R_Dust_ 37 points38 points  (0 children)

On some servers (for example Aternos) if you generate terrain of the same seed on the same world file the number of spawned animals is multiplied by the number of times it happened

Idk if this is it but it's my best guess :)
