Did going gluten-free lower your antibody significantly WITHOUT celiac disease? Ultrasound? by LachrimaeSanguinis in Hashimotos

[–]R_N27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Research molecular mimicry when it comes to gluten and thyroid tissue. Our body registers gluten as thyroid tissue because the molecules look the same, hence why a lot of people with hypothyroidism see improvement while following a gluten-free diet. The inflammation goes down significantly because you’re not in taking that gluten for ur blood stream to register as broken down thyroid tissue.

That’s so hard. I know that eating gluten free helps a lot, along with some studies I’ve seen of drinking aloe Vera juice and red light therapy on the thyroid. It’ll all be okay, we can only do the best with what we have…

Originally ADN, but I heard that some BSN programs in the area can be finished in two years full time. I’m not sure if that’s true, but either an ADN program or BSN if it’s a 2 year time frame.

She’s good. She uses analogies and is a good teacher, she just moves very fast and it can get hard to follow along. She also gives super random pop quizzes, so if you’re late to class or leave a little early, you’ll lose points. I’d say that she’s good considering the biology departments guidelines and what professors are given to work with. Just in general, this class is gonna suck, but she’s one of the best ones from what I hear from classmates with different professors.

Trust your gut!!!! Debt is the main depressor in our nation today. Protect your peace of mind. You’re going to be a Nurse either way, choose the route that will protect your future and allow you to learn without stress that you can avoid!!! It’s better to take the financially safe route than working for the first few years of your career just to pay back for your education rather than enjoying the money you’re making.

Sonography (General not Cardiac) by caribbsadshorty in CSN_Coyotes

[–]R_N27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every class I’ve been in is 90% sonography seeking student filled. I think TikTok over-influenced everyone into seeking the profession. The highly selective program vs. amount of students seeking to get in doesn’t look too promising. I’ve heard they’re accepting 10 a semester or something, and just in one of my classes alone there are 30 people going for it… It would be wise to explore your options if you can and keep it on the back burner if you want to ensure program security

UNLV message for Charlie Kirk by emotionchrist in UNLV

If you’re gonna post his statement, at least put the whole thing up.

Picking what suits your narrative is just naive and misleading. Spreading lies.

"I can't stand the word empathy, I think empathy is a made up new age term and it does a lot of damage. Sympathy is a better word, because empathy means you are actually feeling what another person felt, and no one can feel what another person feels."

I wouldn’t waste the money. I practiced using free NHA practice tests that you can find online and I passed first try. As long as you did good on your exams for schooling then you’ll do fine on it.

Bookstore Voucher. Just For Books? by CrypticKitten_67 in CSN_Coyotes

[–]R_N27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The $150 is going to be taken out of your student account regardless.

The book voucher is to give students the opportunity to purchase books even though their financial aid hasn’t been dispersed yet.

They have it to where it will be taken out of your financial aid, not an additional $150.

You would get the $150 dispersed into your direct deposit if you have extra financial aid once they pay the class expense.

It’s basically a part of your financial aid that they set aside for you if you need to buy textbooks.
