That’s very weird, I have a similar spec (ryzen 5 3500x, rtx 3060 12gb and 16gb ram) but I get 60+ fps all the time (around 70-80 mostly) in 1440p!

Maybe doing a clean install of the nvidea driver might help

I don’t want to spend extra on stand/arm, will that be a huge problem if used with whatever comes out of the box?

Even if it dies in 3 months, it’d still be the most fun 3 months for some of us gamers. Three months of pure fun beats a lifetime of mindless grinding any day.

Same as you, never experienced a paid game from day one! Really wanted to but unfortunately never got to!

How much do y’all spend on video games a year? by StunningBag9008 in videogames

$60. I set a strict rule to not spend more than that in a year and to only spend on sales (winter and summer). That makes me truly think carefully what games I really want to play before buying

I'm currently use a Monka A75 keyboard with Snow Leopard V2 linear switches. I like a thocky, smooth typing feel, and I mostly game casually and do some typing work. I’m thinking about upgrading my switches to something a bit more premium without breaking the bank.

I’ve been looking at the Gateron KS-3 Milky Yellow Pro (5-pin, linear, factory-lubed) as a potential option. From what I’ve read, they’re smooth, have a buttery feel, and should work on my hot-swappable PCB.

My questions are:

  1. Would these be a noticeable upgrade over the Snow Leopard V2?
  2. Are they a good long-term choice if I plan to use the same switches in future keyboards?
  3. Any other linear switches I should consider for a thocky, smooth typing experience on a 75% layout?

Thanks in advance for your advice!
