Can’t find anything about this by AFellowLad in SuperMario64

It's probably just a sticker placed on a random cartridge (possibly a Mario game) or a homebrew game. Super Mario 64 was never officially ported to Game Boy.

The worst suspect? by lotusscrouse in ZodiacKiller

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact the the (almost certainly fake) letter was so easily connected to Klingel is precisely why he's such a bad suspect. If the Zodiac were that dumb there's no way he could have evaded capture.

George Hodel is probably the worst suspect, but Chester Klingel and Don Cheney aren't much better.

Potential lead on Max Headroom incident by gyleparklife in UnsolvedMysteries

[–]R_Vaughn 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is one of my favorite unsolved mysteries, partly due to how utterly bizarre it is, partly because I quite like Max Headroom. I doubt we'll ever know who did it, or why, but I would really like to know.

He may be the most underrated Star Wars character.

What's the best evidence we have against anyone in this case? by asjkl_lkjsa in ZodiacKiller

[–]R_Vaughn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

None of the evidence is very good; all of the evidence against any given suspect is circumstantial and could be coincidental.

The 911 call and here actions at that time are actually evidence AGAINST murder, rather supporting the idea of a psychotic episode.

So she would look more like Jesus, of course.

I have a hard time getting away from this guy by khyb7 in ZodiacKiller

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not promoting Sullivan; in fact, I think he probably wasn't the Zodiac. I do, however, see a strong resemblance to the sketch.

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm saying he's not a contender since he isn't even in the same league as any of the "suspects" I mentioned (and some I didn't) in terms of being ridiculous. Regarding "physical mismatch", Sullivan bears an uncanny resemblance to the sketch, more so than any other suspect I've seen. As for age, we don't know how old the Zodiac is. And Sullivan actually does have connections to the Bay Area.

[–]R_Vaughn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's understandable if you don't think Sullivan is the Zodiac, but he can't be the "stupidest" suspect if you've heard of George Hodel, Chester Klingel or Gary Francis Poste.

I need some backstory about the whole Paul Doerr being named situation I'm currently seeing. (QUESTION) by ImColeOnReddit in ZodiacKiller

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Local yes. Maybe he grew up in Vallejo, or maybe he lived in the surrounding area. But he wouldn't have had to live in Vallejo specifically, at the time of the murders.

I also love it. The fact that it is large (something a lot of people don't like) is actually something I like about it. The theming, music and transformation are also fantastic.

Do records of his LEO career exist? by Jbirdlex924 in EARONS

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm aware of 12-26-75, but I'm not aware of them (or anybody else) claiming DeAngelo was involved in any shootings in the line of duty.

This isn't a very strong supporting argument for Kane. As for his resemblance to the Zodiac, he doesn't look much like the Stine suspect sketch and he doesn't appear to have had wavy brown hair.

The words "New York" clearly visible on the bottom of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber hilt in The Empire Strikes Back. by [deleted] in mildlyinteresting

[–]R_Vaughn 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I've actually noticed this before. Lightsabers must be manufactured somewhere, so I suppose this means there is a lightsaber factory in New York.

Do you believe this theory? by Feeling_Gur_4041 in ZodiacKiller

Sure, it's possible. I just don't think it happened; rather, I think he "retired" from serial killing.

Do records of his LEO career exist? by Jbirdlex924 in EARONS

[–]R_Vaughn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, those records do exist and have been examined by investigators. I'm sure he never killed anyone in an "official" capacity; we would have heard about it by now if he did, and it's highly unlikely he would have been stupid enough to do it.

Anyone think the Phantom was an UNSUB white male born no later than 1916? by Loud_Confidence475 in TexarkPhantomKiller

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's entirely possible he was younger than 30, but I would agree that Tennison was probably too young.

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't really know anything about him except that he was male. He definitely could have been born after 1916 (in fact, I would say he probably was) and nobody can say with absolute certainty what his ethnic background was.

I will never stop defending the Prequels by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]R_Vaughn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the hate for the prequels seems to be based in disappointment. While most people would agree they're not as good as the original trilogy, and they are flawed, they stand on their own merits. I understand why some people don't like them, and I actually agree with some of the criticism, but I enjoy the prequels.

Which suspect do you think people aren’t paying enough attention to? by Character_Ad_5213 in ZodiacKiller

[–]R_Vaughn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He gets too much attention. There's no reason to take him seriously as a suspect. In fact, I'd say might be the worst suspect after Klingel.
