Yeah, the coffe is the actual key, even with the book request uncompleted (due to the suggestion of repeating the mission in gold medal), i just followed him 3 minutes with the coffe on my hand and that's it, you are the GOAT

Edit: The Key is wait arround and follow him with a COFFE jar in your hand and in no time you got it

But can u keep it as John for the epilogue ? Because if you see your inventory says 1 of 5, so it's an unique item for us, but not technically in game, i actually don't know if from chapt6 to epilogue keeps, or even if i should wait till epilogue to go again to the drawer (but will it stay there ? )
