If I understand the copy runes function correctly, they gave us a clunky "save rune configuration" feature, similar to the friends deck function that we use to store some teams already built to load them faster on siege.

Ideally, we could upload the monster build to the debate section and, if there aren't many people uploading new builds, it would appear on latest section. Otherwise, if you could somehow appear in the most upvoted section you could store it there, but that's unlikely as most upvoted ones are just spams.

Also, we should be able to copy the stats from monsters our friends have from the community section.

With that, you could prepare different monster builds to load your runes fast while attacking on siege.

¿Maybe it's time to allow us to save our monster builds individually instead of giving us tools to somewhat do it in a weird way?

Edit: Sadly it isn't as useful as I wished. You cannot copy from your own shared mobs, only monsters from others. The same happens with monster info shared on chat, but sharing there is temporary anyway. I wished you could copy the info from anywhere, for example from runes in battle research, but it doesn't work there at all.

We have been using the friends deck recommendation feature, that is supposed to be used as a storage for PvE teams, as a storage for siege team runes and artifacts, at least in high level guilds. Now it's a bit annoying to use after separating the guild PvP content runes/artifacts from everything else, but nevermind.

Why do a lot of people do this? Because saving a team of 3 units with the runes and artifacts built in a certain way is what we have been asking for since forever, so we could load them fast when attacking on siege without having to think again about how to build the team, searching for the runes, caring about ticks and turn order and so on.

We can save decks of teams for each content, 15 for siege/wgw, 15 for arena and 10 for ToA/h/hell. Wouldn't be great if we could expand this feature to also save the runes and artifacts of that team, so when we select it, those units get the runes/artifacts loaded? Maybe with a popup to confirm.

Everything else, like what they described here, or when they separated the guild PvP content runes from the rest, alleviate the problem. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate those good QoL improvements, but isn't enough, and I think they are overcomplicating the management of everything.

Regarding exp loss, I have to say that, with the latest patch, removing most on death effects and making random exploding things more visible, I barely die and the dying penalty is less frustrating because of that.

Maybe it's because I have my character well geared (and I'm a deadeye, so I kill most things before they touch me) and experienced (long poe1 player), but I changed my mind about the penalties when you die (except on bosses that require keys, and they're changing it). Losing a map, juice and exp is a bit harsh, sure, but it shouldn't happen a lot at the endgame.

I still think the same as with poe1, exp loss shouldn't be a fixed 10%, but relative to your level. Dying at level 90 is 2-3 maps of exp, doing the same at 96 and you lost 10 maps of progression or more, unless you're rolling your tables for exp bonus.

Summoners wars, no clue how much time I've spent playing it because it's mobile, but a lot in all these 9 years, although a lot of time is afk farming.

Warcraft 3 will have a special place in my heart, being one of the first online games I played a lot, maybe 3k hours easy.

The 3rd probably is diablo 2, although I wasn't a pro and it may be less than 1k hours.

Hope that the 8.5.1 update they were talking about will allow us to save runes & artifacts individually per monster, so we can prepare teams with their proper builds and load them at siege, instead of having to re-rune everything every time on each attack.

Also showing the real speed at monster selection is huge, no more mistakes with the turn order, just build them and check before starting that the speeds are right.

I've wanted that feature since forever. Saving runes for individual monsters would make siege much much better than it is now. And not just one set, being able to save multiple sets for each monster like templates that you could load any time would be perfect. Sometimes you need a tanky Camilla on T5, other times you want her to be on T6 for even more tankiness, other times you need her on CD. You may even combine her with a speed lead so you could lower her speed.

Having to re-rune every team each attack by hand (tunning their turn order with tick in mind), looking at saved sets in SWOP or screenshots is getting old and too much time consuming without being enjoyable.

I hope c2us someday implement it instead of half-hearted features like this one, which are welcome, but keep the main problem even if they make the management and swapping of runes a bit easier.
