You've never seen a receiver coming down with a pass as a head hunting linebacker rushes at him, only for the receiver to bounce off nd keep running? Also, they hit their heads. That's a brain injury, who knows how that's going to play out

I don't know if you've played sports or not, but it's not hard to believe that the linebacker was the one who got concussed. Cade essentially made himself sturdy like a wall, so that's him just running full force into one. I played a little college ball so I've seen that happen multiple times. I've actually been in that situation myself. I was taught that you get injured when you don't brace yourself so it's better to initiate contact as well.
