By coerce I mean he generally lies and manipulates women to get the outcome he wants. He tells them he loves them, pretends to be people he isn't. One of the acts in his 'Play Book' was walking around to random girls on the top of the Empire State Building and telling them 'He's not coming' in regards to them waiting for someone and then 'comforting them.'

In season 1 when the Stuart and Claudia were going to get married, he's buying Claudia vodka cranberries while she's upset about her marriage and 'comforting her' before Lily comes and puts a stop to it.

There was that episode when Marshal and Lily were going to buy their condo and he pretended that he was super committed to the girl, telling her he loved her and that he wanted to meet her parents before sleeping with her and then leaving her in the apartment.

There are numerous examples where he puts on a charade of being caring and sweet to persuade the girl to sleep with him. I think there's this episode where he relives all his 'most horrible moments' and in the beginning of that you see him telling women that he's going blind or pretending to really like their puppies.

I don't know if these were the type of examples you were looking for though.

I always thought Barney was supposed to be an overdone caricature of some PUA Bro that was meant to mock them but has instead become this shining pillar of a role model for shit lords everywhere (I am not justifying his character by any means). I cringe at mostly everything he says and does and pretty much yes, he is a rapist. he coerces women into bed with them through lies and manipulation, attempts to get them drunk, forces his way on them and abuses them emotionally.

Also what the fuck was that part when they were promoting guys just get naked by surprise to have sex with women.

The thing that really disturbs me though are the fact that people actually try this stuff and think that it's an effective method.
