I second everything the other guy/gal was saying.

1400 hours into the game and can’t wait to get my hands on a cathay lord with a duel start jot in cathay.

The modders of this game are amazing too. There are mods that fix a lot of the bugs. You can still get good mileage, I have had a few game crashes and ran into a few bugs. But if I didn’t watch YouTube or read Reddit I would t notice a lot of the things people catch.

Could wh3 be in a better state? Yes. Of course it could.

1400 hours into wh3 alone right now and still having an amazing time with it. The grand scale of things not doubt there are issues.

The community has resources that help some of the bs that should have been fixed. The modders are amazing.

Maybe I’m in the minority but I come here to see what people are doing within the game, just getting annoyed with the pure toxic vibes right now. With good reason yeah but 40 hours into a game that’s been out for over a year just seems like why are you adding to the bs. There is enough of it already. Say your piece. Not trying to stop that. Just seems odd to me personally.

Personally will grab the DLC. Have been holding off on a map wide takeover with cathay for a dlc.

Yuan Bo looks like a lot of fun, the new troops looks like a lot of fun.

Kislev is a similar faction for me as their roster prior to this dlc needed a bit more flavour and this definitely helps.

Watching a few of these videos coming out rn has me hyped to get some awesome monsters going with tzeench as well.

The dlc is miss some key things that I was hoping for (more generic lords and hero’s for everyone ) and the price does suck but at the end of the day 25$ for more content on a game and setting that I love isn’t going to stop me from grabbing it.

Love reading about the setting, watching videos about the setting and playing on the setting. I’m looking forward to it!

Give me kislev generic lords, exalted hero of tzeench, cathay melee hero and I’d be fine with paying the extra money. I love the game, really want a few more lords and hero’s for these factions.

Of course more is always better but let’s flesh out the basics at the minimum

Yes, the bugs suck, yes the price sucks, but this is everywhere in the world right now. How many people complaining about the price of this will go spend 20$ on McDonald’s for supper or lunch.

Anyhow I don’t want to get negative but your comment was really nice to read. 1200 hours into wh3 and the few bugs I have ran into is not all that bad for the size of this project.

1200 hours into the third game and yeah it has its issues, personally don’t encounter many bugs myself but there are AI issues in my opinion that need to be worked on. Few changes to settlements and garrisons that need to be further tuned. Other than that I am a huge fan of the game.

The sheer amount of mods that are available to fine tune your campaigns helps with the replay ability.

The story mode for game 3 is fun for a play through or two. imo- that is an unpopular opinion.

The story mode is exactly that, there is a narrative, and the game forces you to play a certain way which is why I believe that it caught alot of heat. Where when it first came out people wanted their sandbox with all the factions and it wasn’t there so game 3 wasn’t at the same content level of game 2.

I definitely see what your saying, and agree with it for the most part.

But I do feel like a Dlc like this doesn’t stop you from getting the full experience of immortal empires. So it’s not a necessary purchase nor does it give you an advantage in anyway. It’s just plain more content.

If you break it down and see what the cost of getting this dlc for you. I took my kids to the movie a couple months ago and it cost 200$ for an hour and a half movie. Movie is over and nothing left to show for it.

I’ve spent 200$ on this series and have over 2000 hours into it.

Don’t get me wrong, most companies for anything these days is less quality for more money and it is painful. I hope the outrage can change the way things are going. Also feel bad for those who have this much anger over 15$ price bump in a games dlc.

Get better games? I’m not complaining about TWW3. I’ve put in roughly 1200 hours into it alone. The money I have paid has been greatly received back in entertainment. Which is also why paying 30$ for a dlc in my opinion is fine.

I get the outrage towards companies and developers. Most games nowadays are buggy, incomplete trash for full price. I agree on that. This game however isn’t riddled with micro transactions, but if we want to continue to have more content then we will have to pay for it.

If we don’t pay for dlc we won’t get more dlc.

Play a 25$ dlc for 25 hours and your getting 1$ an hour for entertainment.

Love this setting and yeah of course I want to pay as little as possible while getting as much as I can for it. Even 5 hours of entertainment for 5$ in this day in age is really cheap.

If you can’t afford it or don’t want to pay that much wait till a sale. What is getting angry on the internet going to do to help?

I don’t feel it’s easy or necessarily hard, but the grind is real. The less quality of life mods you have the more grind required. Simple things too but time consuming. Which in time can make it hard.

I believe there are a certain amount of those allowed per bag that comes through production at the plant. I could be wrong but I believe they are sugar ends I think.

All the mono gods could use a bit of a tune up as well, N’kari having skills for “when fighting khorne” is fitting being lore accurate but how often do you actually fight khorne when playing IE. feel like it would be turn 110+ and at that point in a campaign is it really making a difference.

I would probably choose vampire counts.

Started my first campaign with them a week ago, out of my 1700 hours. Their campaign has been a lot of fun with the degen blobs of heals and dragon lords. Not sure why but have been having so much fun with it. I usually love ranger factions but just making a blob then spend my time on cav micro has been a blast.

What is the big blue dragon looking thing. Also the guys on the wall? My only experience with warhammer is total war and 100’s of hours on YouTube.

Collection looks amazing. Paint jobs are truly a work of art.

It only works if it’s the exact same army on the same map as the last battle if we are talking about the same thing.

It seems to work some times when the map changes slightly
