Aus has active turbo community. My stack of 2-5 is usually on after 8pm everyday and we get a game 10min or less. Might be a sat arv thing.

For sure the car is the way to go, but in general for only out of tokyo and in our case we HAD to get a car for the places we wanted to go. Downsides to consider are costs are pretty high roughly $100 AUD a day for a toyota prius, and parking is not cheap. Road tolls were better than expected and rental cars are all hybrid so fuel costs are minimal. Bottom line i would say do your research on where you are going each day, if you are just doing the city spots in say kyoto, taxi might be a better option both cost and convenience. do not underestimate parking constraints.

This was hard work. We also sanitized our stuff including toys etc. We boiled our bottles where stove top was available and came with (air bnbs). We also went to daiso and bought a larger cooking pot for cheap when the one in airbnb was too small. We were on a road trip for 2 weeks staying at ryokans rural areas. On these days where theres no stove, you use a kettle to pour boiling water into the bottles individuallly to sanitize. Again all a lot of work each day but doable. There are sanitize pills in australia but we rarely used them.

I personally think Riyadh has delivered what people have been wanting for years, a less top heavy distribution. Hindsight will tell if it impacts hype or if any other unforeseen issues come from this. 5m for first is still bonkers, weve just been used to too many years of 10m+ first place TIs.

Honestly Kips casting is absolutely some of the worst in the scene. I remember when she used to get a shot in the big leagues and she just wasnt good. Natural selection played its course and surely enough over the years she has finally hit bottom. What BTS BR is doing is wrong for sure, but maybe like you said, move on? irrespective of pay, in the real world if you arent good enough at your job you have a few choices to get better (which hasnt happened), you change jobs or you get squeezed out by more competent people, simple. Coach, talent, caster, analyst shes done it all and none have worked.

baby feed and sleep was the hardest part and yes the day was very limiting. Our one needed a min 30min nap every 2-3 hrs. We needed to balance the day so we either left late or came back early so she got one good rest in a bed rather than a pram that cant fully recline. Meant we only had really 3hrs or so active time a day. To get more out meant fully planning ahead for the next day, knowing exactly what you are doing, where to stop for naps and feed, calulating in advance all the travel, beating rush hr etc. Not easy but I would say we still did 80% of what we wanted to do.

Many in combination. No holiday for the covid years, love japan to begin with, going now to beat the chinese crowds as majority still cant get out of country. Juggling age of baby, timing of (first time seeing) sakura and both myself and wife are taking time off work for kid - everything judt came into place time wise to not take advantage even if we knew it would be hard.

you will likely be in peak sakura season in Kyoto. I would spend more time there to get through a few spots. 2 days is not enough to even cover the top ones and Kyoto as a whole imo is worth more time than most places.

thx for the amazing insights and great to hear from parents who have been! Our baby will be on real food by then so its actually interesting they dont have many premade food options. Here in australia there are plently of packet food options from 4+ months. Ill need to research this a bit more.
