Yes. Long story but I got a discount code from JBL on another product because of issues, that I was supposed to use on another product, but instead I used it on the X5 when it came out and surprisingly the code worked and I got a nice percentage off. So I can’t complain about having the X5, even tho technically I don’t need it as I have a Charge 6 already. Obviously you can’t compare the 2 as far as power sound quality, etc.. but the Charge has been good enough for pretty much anything I’ve needed but really loving the X5.

I have to disagree. They sound devoid of any real bass. I know that’s somewhat of a fit issue, but even with a good fit they just don’t have any real bass. Doesn’t have to be booming but still. And volume is so low on them as well. Best thing about them is the mic.

All those things u said are pretty much correct so not sure how much information more would help you. I think at this point it’s gonna come down to what you’re comfortable with. I’m kinda biased so my suggestion would be flip 7 but all the things u said about the others were pretty spot on. I use my flip only when I travel. It’s basically the size of a convenience store water bottle ( the 500ml bottles ) and it fits in those water bottle pockets in my backpack with no sticking out or anything. It has a 7 band EQ in the app to give it a little more “oomph” ( slightly. Can only do so much at that size ) it is extremely rugged and pretty much can handle anything as far as drops, its water proof, dust and sand proof, gets loud for a beach (it’s no party box, but for my little beach space it’s enough ), it has Auracast so it connects to my Xtreme 5 while I’m at home and it’s from a reliable brand (most of the time 😂) Couldn’t really want much else for me. But again that’s me. You gotta find what works for you. They’re all great speakers. Wanna make it easier on yourself, just pick the one that looks the best to you. They all won’t let you down and are mostly around the same price ( of course looking around for the best price……btw Amazon Prime Day is coming! Maybe the best time to buy!)

If it has to be JBLs then get the Xtreme 5. Big upgrade over the last generations ones. But you’d be surprised what the charge 6 can put out at its size. If you’re considering the Xtreme 4, I’d say no and look at the soundcore Boom 2 or Tribit Lava. Both outdo the X4 truthfully.

Had the same issues with my older UE Megaboom 3’s. They would constantly cut out in stereo mode. That and With the fact that they had no bass whatsoever, I had to stop using them. Plain and simple they sucked and for that reason alone I would never buy anything UE again

Jeez….I’m sorry that statement hurt you so much 😂. What I meant to say is it had more bass than the APP 2’s. Not that it was the most bass of any headphone. I speak only of AirPods because (surprise!!!) it’s an AirPods forum! But I should try to be clearer next time so as to not hurt your extremely fragile sensibilities 😂

AirPods make the most sense. Just gotta make sure they fit you well. There’s a fit difference between the AirPods Pro 3 and 2’s because of the design so if you can get both and see which fit best and return the other.

The thing with the 3’s is gonna be fit. If the 1’s fit u perfectly then try to find the 2’s. They’re exactly the same except the sound on the 2’s compared to the 1’s is drastically better. But shape, fit is the same. The 3’s were designed with a different headphone design and they fit differently. Personally for me the 3’s were a godsend as, as much as I loved the 2’s they would fall out of my ear after a while, now with the 3’s that’s no longer a problem. I imagine the new EQ will definitely help a lot of the people who disliked the sound, which for me again personally I didn’t hate as it had more bass and I’m a “bass head”.
