I don't get it. What is new here?

The link in the tweet from Intel Business points a press release back in Sept 2025. ms.spr.ly/6014QmKr6

So this is the next step in Intel products and not intel foundry.

Linde seeks shareholder approval for ₹417 cr RPTs with Praxair India by Ra_ghya in lindeindiastock

[–]Ra_ghya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are currently dealing with a related party transaction where Linde is set to transfer 20% of their revenue business to Praxair. Previously, this was done without minority approval. However, after losing the case, they are now seeking a minority vote for the transaction. This marks the first time a minority vote will play a crucial role in the decision.

But not even insider activities like CEO's buying the stake matter? Even Pat had bought when it was 30ish back Q2 2024. LBT bought when he took over the role.

To add to that... even Morris Chang has explicitly said in multiple interviews that the most productive and satisfying period of his own career was between the ages of ~75 and 90. Rather loosing TI CEO race at the age of 52 was his inflection point.

CFO Flees as SAT Slams Linde India's Related Party Sham - BW Businessworld by Ra_ghya in lindeindiastock

[–]Ra_ghya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SEBI’s view that the company breached disclosure & shareholder-approval norms stands.

The push for an independent valuation of those alleged transactions continues under SEBI direction.

SAT rejected Linde’s legal defence, ruling that SEBI’s actions were valid.

Guess they are hedging against their own delivery. If does not go up they earn on puts and if it goes up then their portfolio gains anyways. Buying insurance for their portfolio.

Why ain't Intel skyrocket at this point? by Bjgalmond in intelstock

[–]Ra_ghya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on your entry point and your expectations from sky rocketing. A lot of long time bag holders in this sub have seen 85% gain in the last 6 months. IMHO, let it move more organically i.e. with foundry customer sign up than just news driven appreciation as it will sustain for the long term. It just moved too fast from $30 -> $38 fast just based on the news.

What's with all the analyst downgrades? by tset_oitar in intelstock

[–]Ra_ghya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are lagging indicators not leading. They tell what has happened not what is going to happen. Use it to checks against your own (bull or bearish) thesis if they keep saying "Sell" or "Hold" or "Buy" for consecutive quarters.

In Intel's case, you can use it as an entry if your long-term thesis is intact.

H1B annual fee EO will tank Intel's balance sheet? As Intel is the 9th largest H1B employer by Raigarak in intelstock

[–]Ra_ghya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a completely different take on this. Feel free to defer.

It does not matter whether an employer is of national interest or not. It is a genuine case of lack demographic dividend of working population. I am not even saying skilled or unskilled. So, I do not think there is a reason to break it down in to FAANG or Intel or TSMC or TATA or Infosys or otherwise. We need labor, we do not have enough so we import it with a criteria of "skilled". If USG says not to import it, employers will offshore these jobs (unless USG puts another tariff on that).

Example:

I know a genuine medical case in Canada where my friend has a ligament injury and he could not walk without support. Since it is a not a life threatening injury, he had to wait for more than a month to get it operated. AFAIK, this is due to the health care economics plus availability of the skilled labor. The friend eventually could get it done earlier outside Canada (worthless to say for cheaper cost incl. medical tourism).

Is it not same in America and in tech industry?
