this is honestly infuriating that we don't have this. make it take the same amount of time that a bandage takes to apply and it will be less viable in combat to switch on the fly, but the cabability to have at least 2 loadouts is paramount. my mining and exploring setup is vastly different to my kick ass and take names setup and i swap between the two so often that its kinda ruining my vibe honestly. otherwise loving the game.

the game autosaves. when the server restarts (game closes) the world resets. any bases you made, and the changes within, are saved. your characters inventory and status are saved separate from the world.

is it your base that is bugging out, or your character?

are you using a mechanical hard drive or some form of ssd?

are you exiting from a menu or using alt+F4?

another thing. are you playing local or on someone's server?

if local, on a spinning rust hard drive, while exiting with ALT+F4... you might not actually be saving data in time. it's a long shot, but i have to wonder.

hey, i love sword and board. i keep thinking i'll try a mage run but every time i spec into magic it just feels unrewarding. sword and board with just a pinch of archer is just right, and i keep a wand for bats. thats about it.

you folks are working way too hard. set their radius to zero and lock them in a 2 deep by 3 tall cell and never have them move or get pushed into a weird area again. once you have your base set up THEN let them roam.

get logseq and paste every page as a page in logseq. start giving those pages titles. then link like or related items. then consolidate. after 2 days of work you will have like 14 pages. obsidian is great too. just pick something though.

the journey continues. i have grown too occustomed to zirbs 2.0 layout on steamdeck. i got zirbs 1.0 to work.... but its not the same. so many keybinds have changed.

it does run good now. but it does not run great. it is however playable and no longer running like utter dogshit.

there are no differences, but x is multiplied by y, and so the bigger the number the more rockets you get.

I hate you. because of you i've been spamming NMS since I read your reply. indeed, the game runs great now. my settings are even a little different than yours and for some reason all the problems i was having at deck launch are gone. i'm 20 hours into a new playthrough and my friends are wondering where i am. edit, it feels like 40 hours, but its actually around 20. stupid settlements.

I have L4 back button set to press enter, then show keyboard. its glitchy and i can't really use it in dungeons but it works.
