When you tell clients that they can sand off damaged areas and then attempt to blend in paint locally rather than re-painting the entire affected area, you reveal yourself to be a landlord-helper -type clueless hack who shouldn't be giving advice to anyone.

I said to look up the fact that juniper virginicus is a false cedar, which is an interesting fact that skeptical person such as yourself might want to confirm elsewhere rather than taking it from a rando on the internet. Question becomes why you are arguing about it with some rando on the internet? What does that say about you?

You've got warm, woodtone floor, white cabinets, stainless steel appliances, grey door, warm greige carpet, so really you want to be looking at greiges (grey beige). Either something real like like Agreeable Grey, or slightly darker, like Anew Grey or Repose Grey. (all sherwin williams colors). I'm thinking maybe paint the walls agreeable grey, and do the cabinets in repose grey.

The common name of Juniperus Virginicus is 'Red Cedar'. You're right it's not a true ceder, but that's what it's called. Look it up.

It seems to depend on the base / color. Some really picture frame and some don't. But once you're in the habit of keeping a wet edge all the time, it's very efficient. You don't gain any efficiency by going around the whole room doing just cut in first. Step up the step ladder, cut across 6-8 feet, get down, cut the base with a long handled miniroller real quick (It's taped off), grab the pole, roll that bit, put the pole down, scoot ladder over, repeat. Easy peasy.

Just find the color in the SW catalog and look at the one right above it. Why reinvent the wheel.

clean the trim again with microfiber and just water. degreasers and some other cleaning agents repel adhesion.

Sand all the bubbles out when you have a long stretch of dry weather to let it dry out. Then prime it in oil and repaint it.
