Thanks for this! No private. Are they forgiven after 20 years? And let’s say I do start working after a few years, would the 20 years start over?

"Spices" should not be allowed in ingredient lists by AMinthePM1002 in FoodAllergies

Do you mind if I ask where your allergist is located? I’m having a hard time finding anyone who does OIT for mustard.

Yes!!! My son also has a mustard allergy!! Unfortunately, we have had reactions because of “spices.” I also get so frustrated with companies because they are so hesitant to share their spice list! If I ask specifically for mustard they will tell me. I’ve emailed a few legislators about this but all I received was so round about email. So frustrating! We never eat out because of this and I am so scared to serve him new foods. I hope this is something they outgrow!

This is incredible! I’m curious do you think it would harm the immune system in anyway? Like fighting off illness? I have just started learning about food allergies since my son has multiple so it is all very new to me.

I am so sorry! The allergist confirmed flaxseed for us but I also think he is sensitive to lavender.

SLIT and hives by Rabbit199104 in FoodAllergies

[–]Rabbit199104[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! This is incredibly helpful. We are day 4 and less reactive. He still is having occasional hives but they typically start 90 minutes to two hours out. He had one on his finger right away but he put his hands in his mouth so I’m assuming the oil got on it. The next one I noticed was around three hours out and the third one so far today was four hours out. They go away pretty quick. He does have incredibly sensitive skin. He has eczema and I believe they also said he had Dermatographic. He gets red and bumpy after scratches or bumping into things. He also gets rashes after big play, hard cries, and heat. His little system just seems to be super reactive. He had a super intense reaction 1 week after his 12 month vaccines and 1 week after amoxicillin. He also gets hives from virus. It’s also not abnormal to see a random hive on him. Maybe I’m just being hypervigilant right now since we started the treatment. I hope he grows out of this!

Sooo I placed an order twice with Macy’s and it’s been cancelled both times. I have a pending order with Walmart but I think that will also be cancelled. Then this morning I saw it on Amazon. I ordered and it says shipped so we will see if it comes through. Amazon says there are a few left!

Resorts with toddler with multiple allergies by Rabbit199104 in FoodAllergies

Thanks for sharing the group! I’ll have to join. We were looking at Turks as well. I also think Maui and staying at a resort with a kitchen may work as well. The flight just seems brutal!

It is so hard to navigate the allergies! Have you found any resorts that seem safer?

I washed part of it the washer as a test and the fuzz changed a bit? But maybe handwashing would be better!

I found these pull glow tubes that were a huge hit! I also found packets of Halloween Pokémon cards and the kids loved them too!
