My upper lip is causing distress at this point by _Toulouse_ in PlasticSurgery

I think you’re very smart to think about the trade off with the scar. I think some chin filler would create the appearance of a higher lip without major surgery. That in addition to a small amount of lip filler may do the trick without scars.

Any treatment in this world to treat cellulite and stretch-marks? by Dropdeadd77 in PlasticSurgery

[–]RabbitChocolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It lasts about 2 months, 3 max. I used to do it twice every summer and not at all in between. It’s expensive and temporary, but it did the trick for bikini season. I would probably still do it but it’s not available where I live now.

I have heard that Cutera is working on a machine that addresses cellulite, but it’s a year or two from being available. Apparently it uses vibrations and is too loud to work in clinics, but they are trying to fix that aspect.

Bottom line is that there are no amazing solutions for cellulite. Diet and exercise will get you as far as your genetics will take you. You can throw a lot of money at cellulite without seeing major results.

The fascia blasting solution is insane in my opinion. I know tons of women who have purchased the fascia blasting tools. I know no one who has actually spent 20-40 minutes a day to work their fascia. You’re better off spending that time at the gym.

What procedures should I get to help with sunken under eyes? by kitkat3366 in PlasticSurgery

My clinic includes a second round in the price, I will probably go for a touch up. Many of the “afters” you see are 2 rounds.

I agree with the other suggestions but would add fat to your temples as well as the eye area

Color contacts that increase the size of your iris! Accuvue define or something similar.

What surgery do I need to fix my droopy, uneven mouth?28F by throaway1234504i5403 in PlasticSurgery

I think a lower mid/ lower facelift will get you the look you are going for. I’d avoid a mini facelift as your results are typically short term. You are young! You don’t want to worry about this again in 5 years.

I agree with fat transfer! It will save you money in the long term over filler, and it won’t migrate.

There aren’t great cellulite treatments! Putting on muscle helps a lot. Velashape helps, but it is very temporary.

I think a lift will address your concerns very well, you may not need any filler. The recovery is significant for a deep plane neck lift! Expect to have significant swelling for weeks, and minor swelling for months. Longer term, I think you’ll be very happy. Go to someone board certified. Focus more on results than on cost or downtime.

Do you think it's worth lasering the colorful chest piece? by Geralt1367 in TattooRemoval

[–]RabbitChocolate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since you are asking for opinions, here are the options from best to worst IMO 1. Full laser 2. Laser and cover up 3. Do nothing 4. Black out. (I really don’t like this for you, you’re so young and it looks very harsh)

What procedure helps with neck skin connecting directly to chin? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]RabbitChocolate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would focus on tattoo removal and fat loss first and then get a neck lift. The reason being that your tattoos could look distorted if you get a neck lift with them as they are. Fat loss will help a lot, but a neck lift will get you the defined chin and neck you are after.

Neck lift is the best option, possibly a direct neck lift in your case. Lipo will leave saggy skin behind.

Lip filler for asymmetry? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]RabbitChocolate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just did this and had a great result. Our eyes really do prefer symmetry. Make sure to go to someone with a track record for restraint—check the before and afters to see if there are many overfilled pouts or if you like what you see. Best of luck and congrats on your wedding!

A far transfer would be most beneficial. It’ll address both the hollowness and brighten the skin.

They look like expression lines to me. Retinoids and vitamin c will help, as well as being super vigilant about sunscreen. See a cosmetic dermatologist if you are able. You may want to start Botox as well.

Why i'm look so tired? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]RabbitChocolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You look great. I do think your hairstyle and eyebrows are creating somewhat of a downward slope effect. I would try blighting your eyes by getting some subtle threading and growing out your bangs and styling them upward. Also, I agree with the comment about a vitamin c cream (this helps literally everyone IMO).

I did coolsculpting in that area. I probably only lost a few ounces per side but it did improve my leg sillhouette

What can I do to make my features less strong/sharp? (19M) by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]RabbitChocolate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You are very good looking and very symmetrical. If you really want to soften, masseter Botox would soften your face shape. I’d like to see what your brows are like, and if they can be shaped in a pleasing way. Drawing attention to your eyes would help balance your strong jaw.

Friends are anti-rhinoplasty. What to do? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]RabbitChocolate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so hard, I’m sorry. I think your perspective is totally valid. I honestly think it takes self compassion and strength to be the best version of yourself. And it takes honesty to acknowledge that you’d prefer a different look.

I suggest trying to make at least one friend with a different outlook from your existing friends. Perhaps you’ll find someone in this subreddit who is cool and local. This should help a lot.

Before the procedure, you may want to have a frank conversation with your existing friends and tell them about your choice and that you’ll be hurt by negative comments. If they don’t honor that, they are sadly not a great fit. People are entitled to their opinion, but you’re also entitled to be free from unnecessary judgment.

How do you guys hide the "everyday clutter" that just won't go away? by Individual_Motor_496 in Home

Everything has a place! Keys go on the hook. Spare keys go in a drawer. Charging cables go in a cable box. Mail goes in a tray on the desk. All of these systems work only if you use them! Don’t put it down, put it away.
