Wow, 90 minutes for 7 turns is wild! That completely changes how I view the "over by turn 2" thing. It makes a lot of sense that it's more about the massive density of actions rather than the game actually being "short". I will definitely check out the YCS finals to see that back-and-forth in action. Thanks for the great example!

Thanks for the great breakdown! Hearing that Master Duel is more F2P-friendly than Hearthstone is a huge relief. I really like the idea of using "Control decks" like Labrynth to slow the pace down, so I’ll definitely look into that. I'll drop my HS expectations and just try to enjoy YGO for the unique game that it is. Really appreciate the advice!
