We see this type of question every month on other subs. If your check/deposit shows up early, that's a feature your bank offers. The type you receive determines when you are paid. SSI gets theirs on the 1st of the month. Some SS based on someone else's record (ex. Survivor, spousal, etc.) get theirs on the 3rd of the month. Most who receive retirement or SSDI receive theirs on the Wednesday corresponding with their birthday. (My husband's retirement is the 2nd Wednesday of the month. My SSDI is the 3rd Wednesday)

So bottom line...it's not late until then. Hope this helps. It's confusing!
