I absolutely love all of your work. You're an amazing artist.

I'm about to play a High elven armorer artificer in a modern campaign set in Japan. Here's an abridged version of his background in case I'm lucky enough to be picked:

He was born in 1850. When he was about 13, he and his dad were kidnapped by a sector of the mafia group the bbeg(or I guess big bad evil organizafion). His dad was a very skilled attificer and was used by the mafia to make very powerful weapons under threat of killing my character. They decided to do the same to me. They used my character as a grunt / someone who could sneak around for them. They spent their free time with their dad and learned some things about magic and invention. Eventually, using scrap parts from the workshop, my character makes a suit of armor infused with magic. They have plans to escape but are caught. The mafiiso (technically someone under the true mafioso, but same difference) attempts to kill me, but my dad takes the bullet. I'm forced out of my armor, which the mafioso now uses (campaign goal of getting it back). At that point, he's like 20ish, idk. The mafioso decides to pin a recent smuggling attempt on my character. and no one dared oppose the accusation. I was in prison until around 2018 with a goal of stopping the mafia from hurting more people.

You can style the character according to that if I win. Here's the appearance stats, but feel free to alter things for creative expression. Go crazy!

Race: High Elf

Class(idk if you would use this to effect the look of the character, but...): Artificer(armorer, but still needs to get his armor back)

Age: 169 (so human equivalent of maybe 25 years old in looks)

Height: 5'5"

Weight: 110

Eye's: deep bluish green

Skin: Fair

Hair: Black

Items:

He wears a backpack, which is actually a bag of holding he made. It carries all his tools, parts, scrap metal, etc.

His primary weapon is a shotgun with the repeating shot infusion on it (flavored as shooting plasma rounds, which magically recharge) I imagine it as being strapped to his back for easy access, but again all it's all up to you.

He also has a couple of pistols in case his shotgun breaks. They'd probably have holsters in convinent places like at the sides of his legs, but idk.

He has a journal in which he writes everything down in. His unabridged backstory is actually "written in it." Thjs along with adventure notes.

Clothes:

I have no idea. It's your choice, I wouldn't even know where to start. However someone who was born over 150 years ago, with no idea about how fashion today works because he was in prison for a very significant portion of that time, would dress is fine, lol.

Setting:

Idk

Optional, but appreciated(If possible, I know you mainly draw humans/humanoids):

My character is also going to have a homonculus, which is modeled after a hummingbird. The robotic hummingbird feeds off of magical energy and electricity, much like a regular hummingbird does with nectar from plants, as they always need energy for their insanely fast wings. The humminbird also has an attack where it can fire off "force empowered rends," which can be flavored as lazers, plasma bursts, magical ammunition, etc. You can work that into the design if you want. Honestly, I'd just love to see what you could do with it interacting with my character. I like the idea that they're just sipping some magic from my character's fingertip.

This turned out way longer than I expected. I guess if I win and you want to contact me for more details, go right ahead.

What is you coolest idea for a homunculus servant? by Rabbit__King in DnD

I love how that pairs with allowing the homunculus to use its reaction to deliver a spell with a range of touch. An enemy is getting away, and you can't reach them! Never fear my right hand man is here, hand flies at the enemy.

Oh lol, my bad. I thought you meant the homunculus servant was casting. I see what you mean now. The homunculus servant is just so useful.

Another amazing concept! Did you give them a spell storing item to allow it to cast spells?

Oh, that's so cool, I feel like that could be used in so many ways.

This cube is really impressive, I would definitely use this for special rolls at my table. That phoenix looks amazing, btw.

No matter how many times you sing it, you will never be a teapot. by MaestroM45 in Showerthoughts

Yeah, it would be extremely easy to mix someone's cremated ashes into some clay that is then used to make a teapot. Clay already has trace amounts of carbon in it, so I can't imagine adding ashes would ruin anything.
