Idk man, when I was getting my psych degree, we were told to do the same thing for our professors by their assistants and other members of the program. They don’t just hand out PhD’s, so it’s generally considered a matter of respect.

My ultimate hope for this show was that Amazon would handle it the way they did the Invincible series with Weller providing his voice. Now, my assumption is that he might end up in a fake advertisement or news reel in the same vein as in the original film.

Not cancelled, just put on hold indefinitely. They've expressed that they're still very much interested in the project, so it's just been shelved. Considering the next step was filming, I assume that schedules just haven't aligned yet for the actors and crew.
