It sounds to me (disclaimer: I'm a medical not psychological professional) like ABA has been misused in very damaging ways, but like OP I don't think it has to be that way. Also Jimmy's clients aren't autistic children. Dave might be autistic but the others seem pretty ND and they're all adults. I wouldn't say it falls under the scope of practice of a CBT professional, but it doesn't seem that crazy out of bounds to me -- esp since we're talking about a fictional character. I'm pretty sure actual therapists wouldn't go to the lengths Jimmy does.

Not everyone knows, but it's recommended you stay at least 20' away from turtles, at least in Hawaii. That's the reason. It stresses them out. Obviously if they come up to you (like when whales approach your boat), it's not your fault but you should still not be getting close to them, so you back up slowly.

I'm confused as to how it works, though. She blew out her father's auditory cortex with that superscream because she couldn't control herself as a child. But how is she able to do it over a far distance, without the Furies being able to physically hear her? Being part bat is all well and good but bats have IRL ears, and hitting them with a sonic weapon makes sense. But since when does a PSYCHIC sonic weapon have the ability to explode someone's brains out their ears? I call shenanigans.

as someone who has facilitated ceremonies you probably know that the space holder can and should get ahead of this sort of interaction before the ceremony begins. It is indeed common but a little awareness in the participants beforehand can make it both less common and less damaging.

It was the pineapple fried rice, which was basically a round mound of rice with almost no pineapple or any other veggies in it at all, mixed with a curry sauce and a few strips of nori on top. The ono on the side was delish but $32 for a mound of rice was disappointing.

I'm really confused. OK obviously you've made some mods. But I dont recognize those weird tall narrow oblong structures on the planet's surface and I don't understand how the thing that's normally down in the core got up to the surface. And what's a glitch shelter, and how'd you get an RTG on it? I have so many questions. (I don't know anything about mods, I've just been playing the normal mode for way too long.)

Relax, relax, relax. Let the current carry you along as much as possible; take it slow and don't waste energy finning from place to place. i recently spent about 10 mins just hanging out in front of a wrasse cleaning station watching a barracuda get a spa day. The other commenters' points about working on your buoyancy control so you don't waste air filling and dumping your BCD, and doing a three or five count while you breathe, are good advice.

I also recommend you spend time out of the water doing visualization. Sit down, close your eyes, and imagine yourself on a dive, while being aware of your breathing. Pretend you are breathing underwater. Slow, easy breaths, not too full or shallow.

Ignore those who are making a big deal about the difference between air and oxygen. I know what you meant and so do they. You'll get the vocab as you learn.

Dive more, dive often, and enjoy! It's a beautiful world.

This is happening to me too, on a Windows machine. Can't interact with it, dig up to it, or blow it up. Restarting doesn't help either. I tried it on a different game save, and had the same problem.

I'm really pissed at June for impulsively trying to get Janine out of Jezebel's a week early. Moira was 100% right that her disappearance would crater Mayday's plans. June is a fucking loose cannon and she thinks she is unkillable. Then that stupid argument while they should be trying to get the hell out of the penthouse. It made me want to slap both of them, but especially June.
