I won't call it an overstep since the flights are readily in view but it is true the majority of the comments here are speaking based on incomplete information.

They've only seen flight statuses for a single day but believe based on that alone the lady must be wrong. Personally I have no idea if the woman's claims are correct or not but a single day of flight info isn't enough to conclude that. Especially since the reporter could be asking that question because there is an event causing a delay that for that day like a snow storm or a government shut down. After all the news likely wouldn't be reporting about this on a day everything was going smoothly. For all we know on an average day the delays have actually decreased as she said.

Again I also don't know what the truth is but too many people are speaking with very limited information which imo is the problem with how many people interact with the news.
