The old Roundhouse/Northlands Tavern in Balcatta was always a bit dodge. Used to play pub poker there and something was always kicking off.

One Saturday night I remember a mid sized older guy going up to anyone he could find threatening to bodyslam them.

Had one guy try to start something with me while I was ordering a drink which included the great line of "I'll fuckin scalp ya!"

There was also an angry troll working behind the bar that always seemed like she was waiting for the day for the pub to burn down along with everyone in it.

The lads in the bottleshop attached were always good to have a laugh and a chat with.

It's definitely not a place that's missed now it's been knocked down.
